~3 Weeks Later~

"Okay. This is it. Two teens who we could potentially be the parents of in afew hours. How do you feel?" Pidge asked as we stood staring at the Dark red house in front of us.

I took a deep breath in and out, "Honestly? Teriffied."

She let out a low chuckle and put her hand on my shoulder. "I am too. But-- I think we'll do great."

I smiled, "You're right. I mean- What could go wrong?"

Pidge grinned, "That's the spirit! Now let's go!" I laughed lightly as we started walking up the driveway. We reached the door and I hesitated before pushing down on the cracked plastic button next to the door frame. It let out a long chime noise and I could hear footsteps inside.

The door swung open to reveal a woman in her late 20's with long black hair and hazel eyes. "Oh! you're the ones looking to adopt?"

"Yes! I'm Y/n and this is my girlfriend Pidge! We were told you had 3 teenagers who we could come meet? We specifically wanted a teenager." I said rubbing the back of my next nervously.

"Yup! Come sit. I'll call the kids down." She said gesturing towards a red couch. The walls inside were all a bright red, and all the furniture was either white or purple.

My thoughts were cut off by the black haired woman shouting up the stairs behind us. "Kids! Come down stairs!"

I heard yells of "Yes Mrs. Lycan!" and "Coming Mom!" from upstairs followed by thundering foot steps and a bark. Down the stairs came 3 teenagers, an elementary schooler, and a toddler being held by one of the teenagers.

"Hey guys, this is Y/n and Pidge. They are looking to adopt." she turns to us. "My apologies. I didn't properly introduce myself! I'm Aphmau and my husband Aaron is in the kitchen cooking. This is my daughter Alina, " she said pointing towards a teenager that looked almost identical to her mom.

"Nice to meet you Alina." Pidge says with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too! This is Gabby. Say 'Hi'!" She says gesturing towards the toddler in her arms. Gabby grins and giggles before putting her hand up and quickly pulling it back down. I laughed. "And this is Micheal." She says gesturing towards the kid, who just slightly smiles and waves.

Aphmau smiles, "And these 2 are the ones you came for." She gestured to the two standing next to eachother. there was a boy and a girl, the boy seemed agitated and nervous, sweat sticking his dark brown hair to his forehead, and his green eyes accented by his blooming red cheeks.

The girl however was a whole different story. Her eyes were wide and I recognized the look she was giving us. She was thrilled. It was a look I knew all to well from when me and Pidge first went to space. Although in appearance she reminded me alot of keith. Long ebony black hair, and dark violet eyes.

The boy seemed to recover while I was staring at the girl because he spoke up first, "H-Hi. I'm Noah." hes stuttered sticking out his hand.

I smiled ad stuck out my hand to grab his, "Pleased to meet you Noah." I turned to the girl, "And you?"

She seemed to snap out of her gaze when I spoke to her. She shook her head and blinked, "I-I'm Serenity! I-It's amazing to meet you guys!!"

I laughed and turned to Aphmau who cleared her throat to get our attention. "Alina, Michael, can you take Gabby to go help Aaron in the kitchen? I would like to sit with Noah and Serenity while they're talking to Y/n and Pidge." Alina smiled and nodded before grabbing Michael's hand and hoisting Gabby up, and walking over to the kitchen. Aphmau motioned for all of us to sit and we complied.

"So, Y/n, Pidge. What's life like for you?" Aphmau asked curiously, trying to get a conversation started.

I was about to reply but was interrupted. "You guys spent years in space with Takashi, Keith, Lance, and Hunk right?! You're those Y/n and Pidge?!" Serenity asked excitedly.

I was stunned and seemingly so was Pidge. "Wow! Always nice to meet someone who recognizes us, huh Pidge?"

"No no no! You don't understand. I have wanted to go to the garrison since I was 8! When you guys disappeared and there were reports of a UFO in the shape of a blue lion-- I started following the story and have been hooked since! I know alot about you guys!" She paused for a second, "Not in a stalker way though!"

I laughed and pidge became serious, leaning forward. "If you know so mcuh about us, then what name did I use at the garrison?"

"Pidge Gunderson." She replied without hesitation.

"What's my real name?"

"Katie Holt! Sister and daughter of Matt and Samuel Holt!" She said adjusting her glasses.

I laughed, "Then what's my status huh?"

Her eyes lit up, "Y/n Kogane, Sister of Keith Kogane. Parents deceased-- but you seem to consider Takashi Shirogane a father."

"Hah! You got something wrong. My dad is deceased, yes. He overdosed. But, my mom is alive and healthy! She's a part of the Blade of marmora. One of our allies in the fight against the Galra. They're kind of a group filled with Galrans who hated what they're people were doing."

We talked like this for afew more minutes. Before I decided to talk to Noah, "So Noah-- what are you interested in?"

He looked up from his lap and there was hope in his eyes. "I love Swimming. It's my all time favorite hobby and I'm pretty good at it if I do say so myself..."

I smiled, "My friend Lara loves swimming too. She's obsessed with becoming better."

We talked for about an hour or so, at some time during that Aphmau left to go to the kitchen-- presumably to help in any way possible. She suddenly walked back into the room, "Okay girls. Sorry but you have to go. Noah and Serenity must eat dinner. Come back tomorrow if you chose to adopt one of them!"

We smiled and thanked her before leaving. As soon as we stepped off the driveway Pidge grabbed my shoulders and pulled me in for a long kiss. I kissed back of course, despite being utterly confused.

When she pulled away I chuckled, "What was that for?"

"Nothing." She teased, "you're just so cute!"

I Laughed as Shiro's car pulled up, "How'd it go?" he asked.

I turned to Pidge and she turned to me. "It went good." Pidge replied as we got in the back seat.

"Did you make a decision?"

"I think I did." I smiled.

She smiled back, "I think I did too."
