Chapter 2

Mon-el groaned "Sorry I fell asleep," he said "Oh it's ok, Owen fell asleep in your arms its ok, and your not fired don't worry," Kara told him. 

"Oh.." He said. 

"Um why don't you come to my apartment and we can figure out the terms and I can show you where everything is if he needs to stay home" Kara suggested 

"Um sure," he replied. 

"Great, well I'm finished and I have Ally holding everything for tomorrow, so if you need a lift, I have a car downstairs," Kara said.

 "Why not fly?" He asked, 

"Umm well even though I would love to it's not safe and two, well Cat grant basically gave me her car and driver so I don't really want him to go to waste," Kara explained

 "Ok," Mon-el said with a smile. 

"Let me," he said taking Owens carriers so Kara could carry all her work files. 

"You get to come up and down this lift now, I will get a pass for you and you can come up and have entry to my office whenever," Kara said, adding it in her mental list of things to do.

 "Ok" he replied with a smile as they went into the lift.

"Ok so this my apartment, I'll get a key cut for you," Kara said. 

"Ok" Mon-el replied. "Oh wow.."  He continued 

"It's not what you expected for a CEO, I know, but I looking for a place, but want an actual place where he can have a back yard to play in" Kara explained to Mon-el, he nodded 

"Um, where you like Owen?" He asked "Um you can put him down on the floor next to the couch there should be a blanket there and pillows that you can put around, cause he will get up and crawl, walk even climb around," Kara said

 "Umm which is why you keep him in the carrier," Mon-el asked 

"Yep, and he will press buttons" Kara continued Mon-el chuckled 

"Just wait till he turns two, it will get worse," he told Kara, she groaned please don't say that," she said laughing.

Mon-el set the blanket and pillows up make sure that Owen wasn't near the table. "Would you like a drink, something to eat?" Kara asked Mon-el 

"Um, can I have a water please?" He replied finishing setting Owens places up, picking him up and giving him a toy, so he and Kara could talk.

Mon-el walked over the bench where Kara was getting a few things out, "So Owen cot is in my room, I will probably make that his room, and I'll just sleep on the pull out bed, in a few years, the laundry is just over there pointing near the kitchen, the bathroom is behind the wall of my bedroom, and we have a small balcony, you see the living room, and that's about it" Kara explained showing Mon-el her apartment. 

"You won't be here to clean, just look after Owen. Kara stated. Mon-el nodded 

"you are more than welcome to have whatever you like from the kitchen, I do need to do a shop," Kara said.

 "If you like I can stay here, and you can go get the shopping?" Mon-el asked Kara, 

"Umm..." Kara started 

"It's ok... I understand if you don't want that" Mon-el said. 

"No it's ok, it's just I've never left him with anyone other then My sister or my adoptive mum" Kara said

 "I understand, what if I go get the grocery's and maybe we can do it some other time when you feel more comfortable, with me" Mon-el suggested. 

"Ok, Um yeah, so this is what I normally get, now I'm trying to get him on to solid foods, so if you would get me like some crackers, biscuits, plain of course,.. Ummm" Kara started.

 "Kara, ts ok I've shooed for one-year-olds before" Mon-el started 

"I know, it's just... he's particular" she continued 

"Well sometimes you need to nip it, and tell that that's what it is or nothing" Mon-el explained "Right, um ok," Kara said knowing it was good advice but she hadn't trusted anyone with him and his foods other than Alex and Eliza, not even Wyn or James. 

"Ok, thank you" Kara replied, handing Mon-el $200, oh and do you mind buying me some doughnuts, and get something for yourself," she said, 

"Thank you, buts its ok, only what's on the list" he said looking down at the list, and at the money, he headed out so he could go to the shops to purchase her Kara's grocery, while Kara played with her son, like she did most evens before she put him to bed and before she did some more work.

Ok so here is the second chapter :) should I still continue? what else would you like to see happen, I have a few ideas but I want to know what you lovely people want to see.
