neil takes avni to hospital and her surgery is going on as the bullet hit her chest , neil was silent all the time not uttering a word and he is only looking towards the door of operation theatre while kushi keeps crying for avni and kk consoles her , prakash too stands still not knowing what to do , his heart is breaking seeing his daughter in that position and he is breaking inside seeing his son in vulnerable state , though neil is not showing anything on his face , he knows every detail of his son and he can feel what his son is going through , he first hesitates to go near neil but gathers himself and goes to neil and puts his hand on neils shoulder and neil looks at prakash
prakash : dont worry neil , nothing will happen to her , she will be fine and she should be , for us , for u
neil doesnt say anything and hugs prakash as tight as he can , right now he needs it very much , just then doctor comes out and neil turns to the doctor
neil : doc how is my wife , she is fine right ? can i meet her ?
doc : relax mr khanna , she is fine now , luckily the bullet did not touch the heart but she canno move her left arm for few days and make sure that she doesnt work until she gets fine

after sometime he comes out and kushi goes in , neil hesitates to go to his father but kk encourages him
neil clears his throat to let prakash know that he is here , prakash turns to neil
neil (with tears and guilt in his eyes) : iii--- am -- sorry pap--aa
prakash also let his tears flow when he listens neil calling him as papa , he immediately hugs neil and they both cry like small kids

neil nods his head and wipes his tears
neil : papa dont tell this to maa and neela maa , they will get worried and u go back to mumbai , i will stay here for some days and will return after avni gets fine

after sometime avni opens her eyes and asks for neil , neil immediately rushes inside as soon as nurse informs him , she sees him and immediately gets to know that he cried like hell , as his eyes were red and his hair was disheveled , she asks him to come near her by signalling him with her eyes , he goes near her and holds her hand
