    Prologue

Blood seeped down her arms as the thick glass shards cut into her skin. The fall had been a helluva of madness and she didn’t wait to see how her face would look at the morning. The thought made her irritated.

She looked up. The window was open, the curtains moving from the wind and at that moment she met the eyes, which peered down at her. She smiled, mockingly. “If you think that will kill me, you are very, very stupid.” She gave him the middle finger and turned around, leaving from the house with quick shaky steps.

But inside her she was weeping, begging herself to go back and ask for one more chance. The rational part of her mind demanded her to continue walking, getting away from a life of pain and sadness.

The blood still continued falling from her arms as she walked. And when the sun finally rose, the blood on the pavement looked like paint stains, but mixed with the unseen tears of a girl who left her old life behind.
