chapter 25

I can't stay here with them... I have to leave, it's for their own safety

That thought made tears slip out and roll down on my cheeks I hear a knock on the door I look up and wipe my tears

"Who is it?" I say making me hear "Clark" and I walk over and open the door and pull him in

I guess he already know what I was thinking he look at me with sorrow "is this what you want?" He asks making me look at him with tears in my eyes

"I-i... I don't want to but I have to for their own safety" I say as he hugs me as I cry in his arms needing the comfort that he is giving me

After a few minutes of silence I pull away "leaving already?" He asks making me nod

"Yea I'm going to go back to my place for now to get a few things" I say and he nods "okay want me to tell the girls that you have left after you're gone?" He asks making me nod

I open the window and look behind me towards him "tell them I'm sorry" I say and he bows his head and I jump out the window

Using my vampire speed I run back to my place I open the door and close it behind me

I sign in loneliness but knowing it's for the best I walk up stairs look at the spare bedroom as I walk past remembering all the memories that it keeps

I shake my head and walk to my room grabbing a bed and start packing a few things

Clarks POV

I sign and walk down stairs to where the girls are and I see their in the kitchen "girls" I say getting there attention

"Y/n says she is sorry for the way she acted she couldn't control herself, she lost a lot of blood yesterday and that's what made her lose control" I say making Lauren speak up

"We better go talk to her" she says as she walk towards the stairs but I block her way making her look at me "there's no use... She's gone" I say making her frown her eyebrows and look back at the girls and then back at me

"What do you mean she is gone?" She asks as they all look at me waiting for an answer "she said it is for all of your safety by now she is probably pack stuff ready to go to the castle of vampires in the vampire realm" I say making Lauren step back in shock

"She's gone?"

"To a castle full of vampires?"

"For our safety?"

"Without saying anything?"

I nod confirming their questions

"We need to speak to her come on girls" Mani says as she walks out with the girls following "where are you going?" I ask but get no reply for any of them so I just follow them instead

Y/n POV

I get out of the shower and then get dressed I sit down on the bed and sign once again

I look on my bed side table and see a picture of the girls and me smiling happily to each other

I pick it up and look at it I remember this day it was one of the most happiest days of my entire life and now I have to leave them behind

I look up having tears in my eyes I close them letting them drip down on my lap I then stand up and put the picture in my bag and zip it up

I grab it and walk out of my room closing the door I look at the guest room and slowly walk towards it grabbing the handle

I open it and look inside seeing nothing but a normal room I look down and close the door again and walk down stairs into the kitchen and opening the fridge putting the blood bags in my bag

I close the fridge and walk into the living room seeing it look as normal as it did when I left it I turn around and walk to the front door and open it seeing Ally was about to put the spare key that I gave them in the door

I step back not expecting to see them here it's only been ten minutes and it's a 15 minute drive...

"W-what are you doing here?" I ask as she hugs me making me drop my bag she has tears in her eyes and I let her hug me for a while but I push her back making her let go

I pick up my bag and walk past her seeing the girl block my path making me stop

"We can't let you go y/n" Mila says and she looks at me making me look down "you don't understand it's not like I want to" I say looking down

"Then don't stay here with us please" Mani says making me shake my head "I can't, I have to go" I say looking away from them

I feel someone take hold of my hand making me look to see Dinah "so just like that... You're going to leave us after all we've been through?" She asks with tears in her eyes making me feel tear well up in my eyes

"I'm sorry is for your own-" "safety?" I heard Lauren but in making me look at her as he steps closer to me

"We don't care about that we care about you y/n, why can't you see that" she says making me look at her as I see tears roll down her cheek

"Lauren" I say looking at her dead in her eyes "I'm sorry I can't stay I could never forgive myself If hurt you girls" I say as I walk past them

I lift my hand "portal in arce vampiri" I say as a portal appears in front of me with a purple mist around it I wipe my tears away I step forward but feel someone grab hold of my hand making me look seeing Mila looking at me with pain in her eyes

"P-please don't leave" she says and she pulls me close to her and hugs me with tears rolling down her face

I stand there looking into the distance at my kingdom and I slowly push her away again not looking at her

"N-no please don't y/n" she says as I look away and step into the portal and I turn around seeing then all cry while looking at me

"I'm sorry girls" I say as the portal closes leaving me there standing on my own
