*phone alarm screeching*
God I hate waking up at the ass crack of Dawn.
It was my typical Monday. Eat breakfast, get ready, walk dogs, and go to school by nine. I hate Mondays.
Side note, if I ever meet God ask why he made them.
*2 hours later*
"Hey Ari! What are you up to on this glorious morning!" My overly excited best friend Brooke hugged me tightly, even though I just saw her Saturday.
Brooke was that kind of girl that was overly friendly, but didn't care what anyone thought. She wore what she wanted and said what she pleased. Her clothes weren't your everyday style, mismatched colors and vibrant. I guess it makes up for her dark black hair and light olive skin. She is powerful with words, must be because she is only five-four. She's just always happy, and I admire that about her.
"Oh you know dreading the five hour long lectures I have to go to today, what about you?" I replied.
"Loving life as always!" Brooke chirped.
Out of the corner of my eye I see an arm snake around Brooke's shoulder, her overly affectionate boyfriend kissed her cheek and handed both of us a coffee.
"Thanks Michael I don't know what I would have done without you." She said while returning a lingering kiss to his check.
Probably would have bought your own I thought while smirking at them.
***IN COMING TEXT***
**Good morning babe! I have an exam today and a bunch of homework due tonight, have a great day and I'll call you when I can! xx.**
Great another day without getting to really talk to Hayes, maybe I should take up his offer and move to Michigan with him..
*TEXT REPLY*

"Helloo Earth to Aria, you in there? I asked if you were coming to my party on Friday." Michael waved his hand in front of my face.
*Smack*
"I don't know where you hands have been get out of here. But I gotta go to class I'll catch up with you guys later, and yeah I'll be there." Snickering I left the two with a wave.
*Three hours later*
I normally get lunch at school but today I decided to go out and find something. Just as I was walking out of Qdoba I see Colton, lacrosse jock, super hot and super bad boy from high school. Great...
"Aria? Is that you? What has it been, 2/3 years? He smirks down at me.
"Hey Colton.. And yeah I guess it has been, how are you?" I shyly ask and tuck a strand of my caramel brown hair behind my ear.
Why am I like this!! Who cares what he thinks!!! He barely even knew you!! I'm surprised he knows my name!
"I'm good just on my lunch break I've been working a lot, this and that, you know. Well I gotta go so I'll talk to you later then, good catching up! He says, while swiftly leaving the restaurant.
"Y-yeah nice to see you too." Stuttering slightly I praise the Lord he left so quickly.
That was awkward. I quickly grab my phone and text Brooke what just happened. She blows it off and tells me not to overthink it.
*Later after lunch*
Back at school I go to class, take my notes and see what's do this week. To much if you ask me. I get decent grades..ok ok you pulled my arm I have a 4.0 and I've been on the dean's honor roll since the beginning of my school career. But what else was I supposed to do? Boys weren't my thing. Well I wasn't their thing.. Until I met Hayes after high school.
