Nobody's POV

"You ready?" Grimmjow turned to you.

You hesitated. There..there was something you had to do first.

"(Y/N)?"

"..Grimmjow...I just...well if something happens to us...I just wanna say that I'm glad I joined you. And I'm glad we became friends, but-"

"Tch, now you sound like a human! All caring and shit..." he said with a laugh. "We're gonna be fine."

You just watched him...as he tried to put the situation off like it was nothing. Aizen was stronger than both of you and with the shinigami there...it won't turn out well. Someone was going to die, and it was probably gonna be one of you two.

You sighed. "Grimmjow.." he stopped laughing and paid attention to you. "I'm gonna make this quick...lately...uh...lately I've been acting a little weird..and um...." your eyes shifted to the ground. "W-well..ugh fuck this." You took a step closer to him and grabbed his face, smashing your lips against his. He stood there, shocked. It's not like this ever happened to him before..but it's not like he didn't like it so he let it run its course

You removed your hands from his face and took a step back. "I'm sorry, I j-"

He pulled your body into his and kissed you again, only harder and more passionate. When he stopped, he pressed his forehead against yours. There was a few seconds before either one of you spoke.

"Let's win this together." He said quietly. You nodded and took his hand.

He opened a garganta, and you two stepped through, thinking about all the possibilities. Thinking your final thoughts. Breathing your final breaths. Preparing for your final fight.
