"So, spill the tea, sis," Hiruzen said.

At least, that's what I wish had happened. Instead, he was straight to the point, "So, tell me, why is it that you have the chakra of a tailed beast thought long gone."

"Ah, you see," I started, "Y'know how I woke up in the forest randomly, right?" He nodded, so I continued.

"Well, when I woke up, I was pretty much immediately met with, uh..," I trailed off.

'Hey, should I tell him?' My thoughts were directed at Taela.

She sighed, before answering, 'Go ahead. He knows who I am, anyways.'

"Well, I was met with a giant white tiger who was said her name was Taela, the thirteen tailed tiger."

"Her chakra did seem all too familiar... (L/N), do you know much about her?" He gave a concerned look. I shook my head. "This really is not good..."

"What isn't?"

"Child, Taela is the most dangerous of all the tailed beasts. She was created artificially through many forbidden jutsu and taking the life of a woman who was mad with power. Whatever you do, do not unseal her."

My eyes widened. Taela, That silly, bubbly tiger, dangerous? Then, I remembered what I had said to her before.

'Sorry, no offense, but, I learned to not trust any "tailed beasts" with being unsealed.'

Seems I was correct in thinking that she might not have been trustable.

'Well, it's not like you weren't going to find out sooner or later.' Said voice spoke dejectedly in my mind. 'Just, don't hate me too much, already...'

That just made me feel bad.

"There is more to her story than that. Though her actions were full of malice, she had reason to act as such." I look up in confusion, but then I realized it.

The forbidden justu and killing that woman, the people who created her must have been terrible.

'They tried to force me to do horrible things... I just wanted to be free! I never wanted to be evil—!'

'Taela. I don't think you're evil. I don't think what you did was morally correct, but I don't think you're evil. If you were evil you could have killed me when I was in your sealing place. You could have made so many more things happen in an attempt to kill me, but you didn't.'

As if knowing the internal conversation that was going on in my head, Hiruzen sat patiently, waiting for us to finish.

'But I— I killed all those people. I couldn't stop with just the people who hurt me, I couldn't control myself, I—!'

'You weren't in control, as you said.'

  She went silent after that.

  "I apologize, Hokage-san."

"There is no need for that, young one. You were speaking to her, I presume?" I nodded. "Well, only remember, while you can trust her to be true to her word, unsealing her would cause a catastrophe. She, herself, needs a human being to sustain her life. When she dies, her jinchuriki also perishes, as well as it is theorized that so will anyone in the surrounding area. I am sorry that you have such a burden."

I was silent at this. What was I supposed to say? It's alright? It wasn't alright. Since I was the one person who could stop bad things from happening in this world, that meant I had to put myself and others around me in danger. I was fine with the former, not so much the latter.

"If it is alright, could you do either bunshin no jutsu or henge no jutsu? I need to know that the chakra has been directed properly."

"Ah, yeah, sure. Henge no jutsu okay?" He nodded.

I put my hands together in the sign and focused my chakra into my entire body, picturing my ex-best friend, Mira. Slowly, my hair turned a mixture of pink and purple and my eyes turned into what looked to be orange circle lenses. The clothes I was wearing turned into a pair of black shorts and a black tank top, and my skin (turned tan (if it isn't already) and) littered itself with thousands of tiny freckles.

"Seems it has worked. Who was that, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Just someone from my past, I guess. She doesn't really matter now." I explained as I released the transformation. "Anyways, thanks. This will definitely help out with my being a ninja now."

"One more thing. If anyone asks, you are a jounin. With the position you are in now, I am allowing you to use that title to your advantage. It will also make it less suspicious as to why you are the assistant teacher in team seven."

"Thank you, sir," I bowed deeply and was then dismissed.

Maybe, before I go on the first high ranking mission, I can invite the team over for some "quality bonding".
