Shifting mid air, I free fall through the sky, and then through the trees. When completely in human form, I mask my essence again. I land effortlessly on my two feet with one hand down supporting myself.

A/N Classic badass superhero landing.

The ground had sunk in where my weight was placed, leaving three holes. This pack is known for their sharp eyes. I can't risk letting my big dragon self being seen even if I am miles away.

I straighten up and dust myself off, righting any stray hairs or creases.

Cautiously, I tread to the edge of the forest, also known as the edge of the city. Peering through the leaves, it looks like this is the last of my cover. Nervously I step out into the opening.

I look down to see my feet now on pavement, the sidewalk of a busy road. Scanning my surroundings, I find that this place looks much grimier than the last. It's filled with much more questionable people too. Dull Taxi's roll by, hunting for customers. In the corner, I spot a person called a 'beggar'. My land has no beggars so it's an odd sight.

I watch as another Taxi goes by. It would be tempting to flag one down, but not enough. Walking down to the crosswalk, I press the 'walk' button thing with my elbow.

Minutes later, traffic comes to a stop and I can cross. The surrounding crumbly and stained buildings did nothing to reassure me. I carefully slide the map out off my purse, making sure not to flash the money, and take a look. Just as I had remembered, one of the places is up this street. Maybe a ten minute fast paced walk.

Not waiting for someone to take notice of me, I take off. Thankfully, the further into the city I went, the more conditions got better. On my way, I passed a few newly made convenience stores. The first ones I saw earlier looked like a ring of rapists were hiding in them.

Once at my destination, I poke my head inside. The air is thick with cigarette smoke. It made me cough until I was wheezing. Quickly I got my nose out of there, letting the door shut, sealing away the awful smells. That place was not the one anyway.

Looking back at my map, I see that unless I want to waste an hour walking I better get a form of transportation. Going against my better judgment, I wave down a taxi.

The driver stops a few feet in front of me. I wait a second, nothing happens. He didn't back up or attempt to open the car door for me. Awkwardly, I shuffle over and open it myself. A closer look at this driver does not make me feel better. He has disgusting slick back greasy hair paired with shifty eyes. It didn't take long to notice large spots he missed when he was shaving.

Giving him one last chance to shut my door, he makes no move. Inwardly I sigh as I swing it closed. I give him the address and name of the place, half expecting him to say 'no'. He only nods and pulls out.

I keep my calm during the whole car ride, but the overwhelming pine air freshener was making me nauseous. Finally the car comes to a stop, I fist him the money and get out quickly. That twenty minute ride did me in.

I was apparently too preoccupied on the air freshener because this part of town felt more glamorous. It had a charge to it, more vibrant. My new stop had a line that went all the way around the corner. And at the front, there was even two burly bouncers. This place is fancy. Skipping the line, I try to walk past the intimidating guards. I just have to seem important.

"Who are you to just try and waltz in!" Immediately there was a big hairy arm in front of me, preventing my entrance. Discreetly I sniff the air, human, good. I do my pissed off expression. Even if my intimidating presence which can make your legs too weak to stand on can't back me up, I can still manage to make them feel my heat.

Irritated, I tick my head to the side before whipping around with a scowl. I'm not going for entitled brat, but more along the lines of a powerful business owner/sketchy dangerous under the table deal maker.

I carefully consider my response. Instead of violently spitting words out like I'm sure they're use to, I decide to do something different. I'll slowly throw out each word like they're slow to understand things, and dip each syllable with frosty venom.

"Did I give permission to ask who I am? Move aside or we'll have real problems." Oh, It's over for them, they're panicking. Being deadly calm is unnerving to most people. It looks like I gave these poor humans chills. It's rather fun I must say.

The first one continues on, "If you're not on the list.." I cut him off by maneuvering around the two and strutting to the doors in record time. The one who had talked was about to go after me. The second man held him by the shoulder, shaking his head.

Easy I coo to them mentally.

"Beautiful, looks like my lessons have been well learnt."

I smile to myself, a deviant smile as I enter into the glam club. I gasp out loud as my eyes go wide. In autopilot, I stand in the middle of the dance floor I know oh so well. I swing around, soaking everything in. Immediately I start inhaling as much air as I can.

This is un-mistakenly the place. A colorful dance floor sinks down in the middle of the room, surrounded by walls of flashy bars and cushy seating. There's a second level that overlooks the dance floor. It has curtains drawn, which I'm guessing is VIP seating.

"Our Given is not here, but he has visited in the past week."

This is real! I mean, It still feels like a dream, but I found him! Givens home at least! He could really just walk in any second?? I can hear Crest purring happily. I look down at the foot wide circle I'm standing on. This is where I sensed him in my visions. I look back up, my gaze lingering on the doors before focusing back at the sparkly ambience.

If he doesn't show up today, I'll case out the place. The second he comes onto the perimeter I'll know. Again I smile to myself, unable to shake this happy grin that keeps tugging at my face. Happy, I sit down at the bar and order a few rounds to celebrate.
