Fair

"He was my brother's son. But one day my brother decided he couldn't take care of his son anymore so he dropped him off at my place and didn't come back..." Patton said

"Since then I've always thought of him as my son." Patton said. Logan looked at Patton with sorrow in his eyes. Patton gave a half-hearted laugh.

"The bastard didn't even go to the funeral." Patton said slightly angry. Logan was shocked. It was the first time that day he had ever heard Patton cuss. He didn't think Patton was the type.

Patton looked down. Logan could practically feel the sadness and rage radiating off Patton.

"Are you ok?" Logan asked. Patton tried to fake a smile.

"Yeah I'm fine." Patton said. Logan could tell he was lying.

"No your not. Patton it's ok to be sad every once in a while. You don't have to be happy all the time." Logan said hugging Patton tighter. Patton broke and started to cry in Logan's shoulder.

"He was so young Logan." Patton sobbed. Logan rubbed his back. This continued for a while until Patton's sobs turned into sniffles and they were just hugging. Then they felt the ride come to an abrupt stop. This startled both men. Then they heard a speaker

"Alright ladies and gentlemen, do not panic, there has been a glitch in the system and we are doing everything we can to fix it. Please give us your time and patience and we will get you down in a moment. Thank you ladies and gentlemen and have a lovely day." They heard the voice say.

"Well it seems we may be here for a while." Logan said.

"Thank you." Patton said. Logan gave him a confused look.

"For what?" Logan asked

"For letting me talk about my son. Most people just try to ignore the subject all together. You didn't and actually helped me. So thank you." Patton said.

"Well of course. I personally believe everybody should have somebody to talk to. Or else your not getting over anything your just ignoring it. From personal experience that is not good for your mental health." Logan said. Patton smiled at him.

"Oh! That reminds me. Why did you and your brother come to the fair? I mean from what you told me your to busy to be at the fair so why are you here today?" Patton said. Logan was surprised that Patton managed to notice all of that. Logan was impressed and slightly turned on but he would never admit that out loud.

"Well it's my brother's birthday today." Logan said. Patton tilted his head

"Then why weren't you with him?" Patton asked.

"Me and my brother are twins." Logan said. It took Patton a minute but he eventually got it.

"ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!" Patton exclaimed. Logan nodded

"Wait But why were you alone?" Patton asked.

"Well you see its kind of complicated. You see we came here with my best friend and they flirt with each other non-stop but what irritates me is that they don't realize that there flirting. It's fairly obvious that they have strong feelings for each other but neither of them would 'make a move' so I'm making my move." Logan explained. Patton smiled at Logan.

"So your willing to spend your birthday alone for your brother?" Patton said. Logan nodded.

"Of course I am. He's... the only family I have left." Logan said. Patton then put his hand over Logan's. Logan looked at Patton and locked eyes with him. They both started leaning in and when there faces were only inches apart they felt the ride start again. They pulled away both there faces flushed red. Then the speaker started again.
