I heard that the school had fixed up the old pool lately, so I decided to check it out.

It was Sunday so I thought that no one would be at the pool today. I haven't felt the intensity of swimming in a lap pool in a long time. Not ever since....

Never mind.

I put my swimsuit on under my clothes and put on a pair of blue shorts and a green t-shirt. I stuffed a towel, my goggles, and my special swim cap into a old swim bag I had laying around in my room.

I then went down the stairs and shut the front door behind me, making sure it was locked. I ran the 2 Kilometers to school, panting about halfway.

When I got to the school I went to the locker room and put my stuff away, took off my clothes, stuff like that. I then went outside to the pool area.

I could see cherry blossom petals laid on top of the water, slowly drifting it's way to the gutters. I stuffed my white hair into my special swim cap and put my goggles on my forehead.

I then did a couple of stretches just in case, I didn't want to get any cramps. I then stepped into the starting block and pressed my goggles over my teal-ish eyes.

I put my hands on the surface and positioned my feet so I could fly off the block with as much force as I could muster. I looked down at the water.

It was so clear, just how I liked it. I then pushed off into the water, diving down into the depths of the pool. I moved my legs up and down, preparing to reach the top of the water.

I broke the surface and started to throw my arms up over my head, keeping my dolphin kick at the same pace. I bobbed my head up and down in and out of the water. I touched the wall with my hands and turned off it. This time swimming on my back.

I swung my arms through the air, trying to keep my body position composed. I held my head back just enough to keep me close to the surface of the water. My legs were propelling me like a motor boat, getting me significantly farther with each kick. I touched the wall with my fingertips, the turned again.

When I broke the surface again I piled my arms into my body, then out, then in, then out. My legs went outwards then inwards, and kept repeating it, propelling my body forward with every stroke I took.

I touched the wall gracefully with my hands and turned. My legs were moving fast, my arms pushing the water behind me. Every couple strokes I took I tilted my head to the side I get some air.

I then put my head down again, looking at the bottom of the pool. I could see it now. The wall was getting so close, I spirited the rest of the way. My hand hit the wall and I popped up it a breath.

I then took my cap and goggles off and rested in the water. I haven't done that in a long time. I then looked up and saw a group of four boys staring down at me.

"Who are you?" One boy with black-ish hair asked me.

"Oh um, well you see." I started to say. I then used the ladder to my side and climbed out of the pool. "I had heard that the pool got fixed, so I was checking it out." I said.

"You're a amazing swimmer!" A boy with a childish look to him said.

"Well um thanks." I said.

"Have you ever thought of swimming competitively?" One with green eyes asked.

"Oh um, I did when I was little." I started to explain. "I quit though because of some inconveniences." I said.

"You should join the swim club here!" The boy with glasses said.

"Really?" I asked.

"You could be a valuable asset." The black-ish haired guy said.

"Um, I don't know." I said.

"Come on, you can do it." The green eyes dude said.

"Wait! We should introduce our selfs first!" He childish boy said. "My name is Nagisa!" He said.

"Haruka." The black-ish haired boy said.

"My name is Makoto." The green eyes dude said.

"My name is Rei." The one with the glasses said. Wait. Haruka? Nagisa? Makoto?

"I-I-I." I started to say.

"Please!" Nagisa asked me.

"Ugh, fine." I said.

"Thanks....um...." Makoto asked me.

"Oh, my name is Hibiki!" I told them.

"It was like fate brought us here!" Nagisa started to say. "You're a girl with a boyish name!"

So, they didn't recognize me?

Do they remember me at all?
