"Hey Y/n" I heard from behind me "Shawn? What's up" I asked, my brows furrowing "I was hoping you could help me with something" he said, moving right next me "Sure, with what?"
"I wanna ask Camila out on a date" Shawn said, with a lovesick smile "And you're one of her friends, and I was hoping you'd help me"
"With what?"
"Plan a date" he said. I looked at him, and thought about what Camila had said, and it looked like I had a head start on getting her to be mine, nothing like a little competition
"Sure, I'll help you" he looked at me with surprised eyes "Really?" He asked as he tried his best to keep his excitement at bay "yeah" I smiled "awesome"
"Shawn asked me to help him plan a date" I told Robert "With who?" He asked "with Camila" I answered. He stopped in his tracks and looked at me, his brows furrowed "Camila? As in the Cuban girl or is there someone else?" He asked "are you stupid?" He said. I shook my head "A little competition" I shrugged
"What if she ends up with him?"
"Then I should get some credit" I joked, but knowing there was a slight possibility she'd end up with him. "That's a dick move," Robert says, before walking off
I ran after him, "how is that a dick move?"
"You're acting like it's a game," he huffed out "listen" he paused, before letting out a sigh of frustration "If I were you, I'd think about this before you go through with it."
I walked, along Veronica as she rambled about her football boyfriend, and how good he was to her "Is it wrong that I'm helping Shawn?" I asked,deciding on not telling her the other part; Veronica stopped talking, and looked at me "Yes" she bluntly said.
"You don't-"
"Robert told me you're helping Shawn get a date with Camila"
I glanced at her "She'll think you're playing with her" She said "and don't play with a girls heart Y/n"
Her eyes focused on something or someone behind me. I felt their arms around my waist, as the people around us stared, before going back to their business "Camila?" I smiled; before hearing a voice causing my smile to falter
"Jasmine?"
I turned around, seeing her with a grin; putting her arms around my shoulder "miss me Y/n?" She asked; a mischievous glint in her eyes. I shook my head "I've been doing fine" I said, as she stepped closer. I took a step back "Oh don't tell me you don't miss me," she pouted, her body pressed up against mine "Jasmine, clearly he doesn't," Veronica said.
"He can speak for himself," she said "I don't miss you" I lightly pushed her off me, "So where's your girlfriend?" She asked, looking around for Camila, she smirked putting her arms back around my shoulder, and interlocking her hands behind my neck, closing the space between us and roughly kissing my lips
I glanced behind her, and suddenly time slowed down; my heart dropped.bI watched as Camila looked between us in disbelief as Veronica tried explaining, before Camila shook her head and walked away
I shoved Jasmine back without thinking, chasing after Camila; who was walking rather quickly
"Camila, Wait!"
"What?" She spun around, "I can explain"
"You don't have to we're not together," Her tears threatening to fall "You're single, I'm single and you can do whatever you want," she stated in a matter of fact, before walking away.
"Im sorry, I tried to tell her" Veronica said "No, I should've pulled Jasmine away quicker" I frowned; I watched as Jasmine struts towards us with a smug look
"I missed that" She sighed; I glared at her "We haven't been broken up for that long, and you decide to do that"
She nodded her head an innocent look on her face "Just leave me alone Jasmine" I scoffed, and watched as her smile turned to a frown "Y/n I love you, and I'd do anything for you"
I chuckled "Then leave me alone,"
