Most witches and practitioners of magick have a grimoire or a BOS (Book of Shadows). You can call it whatever you want. Many beginner witches have a hard time with it, whether that's knowing what it is or what to put or whatever.
Your BOS is personal to YOU. You make this book on your own. You can put whatever you want in it. It's your choice.
It's basically a journal of what you learn on your witchcraft journey.
How to get a BOS
You can get it anywhere. It can be a notebook, bullet journal, a sketchbook, whatever you want. So basically anywhere that sells a notebook you can get it there.
If money is an issue, use a lined notebook. You probably have that lying around where you live. If not, you can get them at Target or Walmart. They are really cheap.
You can even make one. There's tutorials online for making notebooks and sketchbooks, so you can check there. Some witches even prefer making it, due to the fact that the energy from making it is imbedded into it.
You can decorate the cover to make it whatever you want.
