If you read the words in the pictures, they're all the traits that are associated with that house

Slytherin as Ravenclaw both have ten, not including their house name. Hufflepuff has nine—so one less—and Gryffindor has eight.

One of Gryffindor's eight is lion. So in reality, they only have seven. Not to mention that quite a few of the words are simply synonyms for each other, so that narrows it down even more.

In fact, all of the houses have synonyms of a couple of their words, except for Slytherin.

Here, I'll group them all together. When you see a dash - between two of them, that means they're mildly connected.

Ok, the reason I also put lion in there is because it could also be seen as "lionhearted."

But do you see what I mean?

Now, if we count the synonyms as one word (not including the ones attached with dashes) Ravenclaw has six, Hufflepuff has five, and Gryffindor has three.

If you group them together including the ones attached with dashes, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff both have four, and Gryffindor only has two.

And if you go back and look at the pictures, I can see a lot of space you could fill up in the Hufflepuff one, and hardly any in the Gryffindor one. But if Hufflepuff has more traits, then why does the picture also have more space?

J K Rowling, you say you hate Slytherin.

But why hate the house with the most diversity among their house traits? Just because they're seen as evil in the books? Books that YOU YOURSELF wrote? You didn't have to make all your Slytherin characters bad, you know.

In fact, some of the traits can actually relate to traits of the other three houses.

Sheesh. Give us snakes a break, will you? We're not all bad. Because unlike your books, we're actually smart. It's funny that you made some of Slytherin's traits Cunningness and Cleverness. Your characters certainly weren't.

But the fact that you made Merlin—known as practically the lightest wizard around—a member of Slytherin kind of makes up for it.

Kind of.

But like, no wonder we Snakes dislike the other houses. Fred and George BOOED when a kid got sorted into Slytherin. How would you like it if it was your first day and you were excited to be sorted, just to be booed, glared and immediately hated by three quarters of the school?

Yeah. You're gonna feel a bit bitter, too.

Not to mention that many Slytherin witches and wizards were probably drawn to the darkside simply because they wanted to get a little payback for the years of unnecessary hatred they had from the majority of the school.

Slytherins are the mean ones?

Look at the bigger picture, find the minor details, piece the puzzle together and see it from both sides of the story, why don't you?
