It's been a few days. Philip is still recovering from being shot. For the second time. In 15 years.
I walked into the room and saw 15 year old Evie and Alexander, 12 year old Sam, 10 year old Abigail, 7 year old Emily, and 6 year old James. Just sitting there looking, waiting for news about their father. When I walked in, it was like I was God and I came to feed them. Other than the fact I AM GOD AND I FEED THEM ALL THE TIME. Anyway........
"Your Father is fine. He has a bad case of the dumbass gene. Which all boys in our family get. So I'm sorry James and Alexander. You guys will grow up stupid and will think with what's in your pants and not your head." I told them
"Well we knew he was a dumbass, mom." Evie said
I laughed at that. At least she was honest
"Daddy is a dumbass!" Emily yelled, loud enough for Philip to hear and all I heard from upstairs was "HEY THIS DUMBASS HAS FEELINGS"
