Chapter 27- The odd day

Start from the beginning

“Yeah we grew up” Dawn

laughed.

“I'm glad to see a grown women

like you again,”

“I'm glad to see you again too

Ash”

Ash and Dawn continued walking along

the path and noticed a trainer furiously destroying boulders with a

Kyurem. The trainer wore a beret and a purple outfit. She shouted

orders to her ice pokemon feverishly.

“So it's you again, Dragon Buster

Langley”

“Ash?”

“Do you know her Ash?”

“She was a trainer I met in

Unova,”

“Huh I didn't expect you to make

it this far,”

“Well I'm here now,”

“I heard Iris is dead, I'm sorry

for your loss but I hope that loss doesn't make you a boring

opponent,”

“Of course Langley, I'll try my

best,”

“And who is this girl?”

Langley pointed to Dawn.

“This is Dawn”

“Oh, you look too innocent to be

a decent trainer,”

“I'm not weak,” Dawn hissed

“I'm sorry but I don't believe

you,” Langely shot back.

“I'm strong, if you don't believe

me I'll show you right now” Dawn pulled out her necklace.

“Dawn that's enough” Ash

broke up the fight.

“Save the battling for the

pokemon league,”

“Right, I'll be seeing you too

then,”

Ash and Dawn left Langley to her

training and continued back to the league. Dawn felt uneasy about

what had happened earlier. Dawn wanted to make up for what had

happened but she couldn't decide how. She randomly made up something

to get Ash's attention.

“Ash my left leg hurts”

“Hmm can you walk?”

“I'm not sur--” Dawn

stopped when Ash suddenly picked her up.

Dawn blushed madly at Ash's sudden

action.

“What-what are you doing let me

down Ash!” she wailed.

“But you can;t walk, can you?”

“Um um No” Dawn blushed.

Ash continued carrying her back to the

league. The two were silent yet managed a smile toward each other for

the duration of the walk.

“Ash, I'm sorry about earlier,”

“It's fine Dawn,”

“But I-”

“I was like that before Dawn with

other trainers,”

“You got into fights with other

trainers?”

“Yes I did, with Paul with Barry,

Gary and a lot of other people,”

“Oh..”

“In the end we learn to forgive

each other. After all the pokemon battles aren't as important as

other people. There are no badges for forgiveness and respect but if

there was it would be the most valuable,”

“Thanks for understanding Ash”

Dawn slept against Ash blushing madly.

Ash and Dawn finally reached the league

dormitory and rested for the whole night. The two went to sleep early

waiting for the morning to arrive. The next day would bring new

challenges for them but they would make sure that they would overcome

all adversity.

Tobias sat on top of Fiori leagues main

stadium with his companion. Drakrai admired the moon he watched

carefully. Tobias sat next to Darkrai and watched the moon carefully

as well. He opened his case to reveal the eight badges he obtained.

“The league is only two weeks

from now,” Tobias whispered to himself. “Whatever happens

let Team Renegade carry home the title of champion,”
