I tried to talk to you today
in jumbled words that made no sense
to you, or me.
Remember when we used to talk
for hours on end
never tiring of the sound
of one another's voice?
Maybe we will again, someday
understanding, on the same page
but for now we are strangers,
in the same soul but different worlds.
I tried to talk to you today,
but you weren't ready to hear me out.
I'll try again tomorrow
in the place we both reside.
