A powerful deity falls in love with a human, and they do love stuff or whatever. After a few hundred years of love (human probably got blessed by the deity or something), the human is killed by people. The deity then goes into a murderous rampage to avenge their lover, but gets caught up in a plot much larger than a simple murder. Following it will be more satisfying to their tainted heart, so they do and that's the plot.

-lgbt relationship (even more if used with previous one)
-They find someone else on the way
Negative points for:
-deity just revives lover
-they act like nothing happened
