Chapter 6: I won't loose sight this time

TONI'S POV

I walk into school looking for Cheryl, but I don't see her. I see Jason, so I walk towards him.
"Hey Jason, did Cheryl come to school" I asked him
He looks at me confused
"Hey she did, why did she not go to class" he asked
"I didn't see her in the beginning of school, I have her for math class, but I just wanted to hang out with her before that class" I tell him
"Hmm she's probably with Veronica and Betty." He tells me
"Okay thank you" I say while I'm walking away
I was heading towards math class, but someone rushes pass me. I look to who it is and I instantly know who it is
I won't loose sight this time. I follow her, not loosing any sight of her
She walks into the library heads upstairs.
She stops walking fast and I can see her limping. Did someone hurt her ? I swear if someone hurt her, I will destroy them.
"Cheryl" I cry out while rushing to hug her
She hisses as I touch her. I look at her face and see marks on her face and I instantly know how it got there. Someone hit her
"Who. Who did this to you" I cry out
She doesn't respond back. She just looks down.
"Why do you care, it's not like you'll do anything. You should just go and hang out with your friends" she cried out
"I fucking care so much. It hurts my heart to see you like this. Oh Cheryl, you clearly don't know what I'm cable of.  These right here" I say pointing to my bruised knuckles

"I got these from beating up Jughead because he was saying some stuff about you. I couldn't just stand there and not do anything because you mean so much to me, Cheryl.  You are more than just a friend to me, I've only known you for a little but, but you mean so much to me." I wish she knew just how much I actually do care about her

"That explains a lot" she mumbles

"Explains what" I question

"Midge and umm Moose were in a hallway and I walked in. I was going to turn around, but they saw me. They said some really mean things to me and Midge started to hurt me. We saw Jughead and he told them to keep going because I'm a worthless bitch" she cries

I feel anger going into my system, I warned him already.

"I am going to take care of this, Cheryl and make sure no one does this to you ever again, but right now I want to be here with you and take care of you" I say

"Thank you TT, but I don't need you take care of me. I cleaned myself up before I left the restroom."

"But thank you for caring, it really means a lot" Cheryl says

I sit down right next to her and it's a comfortable silence between us. We just look into each others eyes and communicate through our eyes.

Then I realize, she has bruises on her face and she has nothing to cover them up.

"Cheryl, how are going to cover the bruises that are on your face" I ask

"Umm I was going to ask Betty if she had any makeup because we're kinda the same skin color" she explains

"Are you going to tell her why" I ask

"yeah I have to, she's my cousin. Plus, I want her and Veronica to get together" She laughs

"oh my goodness" I laugh as well

"I'm going to text her and Veronica" she says

CHERYL'S POV

To Betty and Veronica:

Hey can you two come to the library, I'm on the second story.

Veronica👠: What happened? R u okay?

Betty📝: Right now. right ?

Me: Yes right now and I am

"What did they say"

"They asked if I was okay and if we meet up right now"

"I said yes to both, but they haven't responded back"

Right on cue they both come rushing in

They look at me and gasp

"OH MY GOD, CHERYL WHO DID THIS TO YOU" Veronica runs towards me examining my eye

"When did this happen and who the hell did this?" Betty furiously said

"Midge did this, Moose was there and Jughead did nothing to stop it. It happened today." I say quietly

"Jughead was there?" Betty asked

"He saw Midge hurting me while Moose was laughing, we all saw him and I looked him in the eye trying to tell him to help me but umm he said" I stayed quiet

"what did he say Cheryl" Veronica asked quietly

I looked at Toni and she nodded, knowing what I wanted her to do

"He told Cheryl 'continue on, she's a worthless bitch' and walked away" Toni said for me

Betty just stood there in shock, "Where else did they hurt you" Veronica asked

"I can't show you here, not in school. I didn't even show TT yet" I said pointing at Toni

Veronica smirks

"Lets have a sleepover" Veronica said

"I can't go sleepover anyones house" I say

"We can go to your house cousin" Betty said

"Yeah okay, TT are you able to come" I said

"Of course I can" She smiled at me

"Oh cousin I wanted to ask, if I can use some of your makeup to cover all this up" I say as I gesture the marks on my face

"Of course, here let me put it on"

Betty grabs her makeup stuff and starts to apply it on her face

VERONICA'S POV!!!

I saw the way Toni was looking at Cheryl and vice versa. They're doing a bad job at hiding what they're trying to hide.

As Betty is applying makeup on Cheryl, I decide to talk to Toni

"So you and Cheryl" I say as I nudge her arm

"What?" She asked

"Oh come on, I see the way you two look at each other. Oh and TT! Cheryl doesn't give nicknames to just anyone. Hell not even Betty has one and she's her cousin" I whisper

"I do like her, but we're just friends anyways you and Betty" she says and nudges my arm

"I like her a lot, but she only has eyes for Jughead" I sigh

knowing damn well I will never get a chance because Betty likes jug and only likes guys

"By the way she reacted to what Jughead did to Cheryl, I'm pretty sure she no longer likes him. Flirt with her and see what she does" she says as she walks toward Cheryl

OOOOOO i wrote in someone else's pov this time, although it was a short pov lol. I am so glad I got feedback from you all! It means a lot and thank you to everyone who comments! I am trying to put out chapters more before the weekends.

 I wonder what will happen later on with Midge and Moose

and the sleepover too...
