CHERYL'S POV:
"Cheryl, hey I didn't see you at school. Are you okay"
I hear JJ say as he walks into my room
"Umm yeah, I am. I just wasn't feeling very well. You know um cramps" i tried to sound convincing so I wouldn't have to explain anything to him
"Are you sure, was there someone being mean? I swear if someone w-"
I interrupted him "Oh JJ, trust me no one was being mean to me. I just didn't feel well after math class, so I left school" I looked at him
"Okay Cheryl, Ill let it go, but I am here for you. You're my sister and I love you" he smiles at before he gets up and leaves my room
"I love you too"
I whispered to him
As soon as JJ left, I got a text message from Veronica and Betty.
Veronica 👠: Lets all at meet up at pops today, before the party
Betty📝: Yeah I'm down what time ?
Veronica 👠: Around 6, the party won't start until I walk in 🤷🏽♀️
Betty📝: okay yeah calm down Kesha 😂
Cheryl: sounds great, I'll meet you there (:

I walk into pops and see Veronica and Betty sitting down already, but they get up to greet me.
"Hey Cheryl, I ordered you a strawberry milkshake, is that okay?" Veronica said as she hugged me
"Hey Veronica, of course it is. That's my favorite milkshake duh" I say
"Hello dearest cousin, how are you" I say looking at Betty
"I'm doing good, just a little sad" she sighed
"And why is that my cousin" I asked in a concerned voice
"Jughead is bringing some Serpent to the party with him" Veronica interjected while rolling her eyes and continued on "I don't know why you like him, you're way out of his league, Betty !"
Betty didn't catch it, but I noticed the hint of jealousy. Veronica is jealous! And she's not jealous of the girl Jughead is bringing, she's jealous of Jughead because Betty likes him!
I ship Betty and Veronica!
"Who is this Serpent girl" I asked
"I don't know, just this girl who goes to our school" Betty said
I just nodded. We sat there awkwardly until Veronica changes the subject
"Are you going to the party or are you just going to be in your room Cheryl"
I wasn't loving this new conversation they both know I hate parties
"I'll be in my room, I don't like parties and everyone who hates me will be going" I explained
"Come on Cheryl, you have to come join the party"
"Yes, cousin ! Live a little, enjoy yourself. Who cares what other people think." Betty smiled.
"I don't know, I've never been to a party before. Plus who am I gonna hang out with" I shrugged
"You can talk to some new people. Even try to find a boyfriend" Betty said as her eyebrows went up and down
Oh yeah. Boys. I so want one. I mentally say to myself. Veronica notices my mood changing once she brings up boys.
"Okay, how about you party with us. You can be with us all night long" I knew from the sound of Veronica's voice that she wasn't gonna let me say no.
"Okay fine. I guess I'll go" they both squealed which scared me at first
"I don't know what to wear though" I complained
"Just wear what you're wearing, we don't want you to be uncomfortable" Betty said
"Gee thanks guys, like I'm so not uncomfortable going to this party" I sarcastically said
They laughed and we continued to eat our food
TONI POV:
I need to talk to Cheryl. I don't know what it is, but-
"Hey tiny, are you going to the party" Fangs asked
"Yeah I am going why?" I replied
"It just doesn't sound like you to go to a party" he shrugged
"I know but I'm not going to party" I was going to continue on but Fangs interrupted me
"Yeah you're going because Jughead asked you out" he rolled his eyes
"What- I'm not going because Jughead asked me." I yelled
"Well then why ARE you going" he calmly asked
"For Cheryl. She ran out of school crying and I want to see if she was okay. I was chasing her before Jug grabbed my hand" I explained
