Player Problem

Chapter 2

"Is this Shadow's cousin you kept going on about?" Blaze asked curiously.

Rouge nodded motioning her hand to Amy.

"Of course! She's staying with me and Shad for a while, it feels nice to have another girl besides me in that house." Rouge giggled softly.

Amy waved happily to the two girls, in turn the two waved back exchanging words for a while.

"See you later guys!" Amy exclaimed happily, watching Cream and Blaze speed off into the night.

Rouge and Amy stepped into the house, but a smell caught the older woman's attention.

"SHADOW! YOU BETTER NOT BE SMOKING IN MY GOD DAMN HOUSE!"

Rouge stomped her way to the living room with Any trailing behind her quickly, for them to witness a cobolt colored hedgehog along with Shadow himself on Rouge's dark purple couch both with cigarettes in their mouths. The infuriated woman walked over, snatching each burning white stick along with a hard 'smack' to each of their heads.

"That's what you get for smoking in my house!"

"It's 'OUR' house Rouge, I have rights in this place y'know." Shadow explained with a slight edge to his voice.

The bat woman only sighed before turning her attention to the other male occupying the opposite end of the couch who had a wide smirk on his face.

"You! Get your STD infested ass off my clean sofa!" Rouge jabbed at him, his only response was raising his hand in surrender.

"I don't have STD's so my 'ass' is clean, I can sit here if I want to."

Rouge glared heartedly at him. Amy cleared her throat hoping to dissolve some tension.

"Rouge, try to calm down he isn't worth it." She said quietly, slowly approaching her sister-figure. Rouge sighed and nodded.

"You have point, but Shadow is gonna be scrubbing that spot tomorrow before I sit on it."

Shadow groaned, throwing his beer can at Sonic who was too slow to react, resulting in the piece of aluminum hitting him square in the face, along with the liquid sloshing on his clothes. Amy and Rouge burst with laugher, Shadow a small smirk on his face and the blue man himself a scowl planted on his face.

Once the girls calmed down, Rouge told Sonic to take a shower. He got up frowning before strutting off to the bathroom. Moments later the sound of rushing water was heard. After about 10 minutes the water was shut off and a string of curses was heard,

"Fuck! Rouge, where the hell are the towels?!" Sonic said angrily.

"Laundry Room!" She replied back.

"How the hell does that help me when that's in the garage!?"

Rolling her eyes, she looks towards Amy.

"Darling, can you please bring him a towel before he destroys the bathroom looking for one he won't find?"

Amy nods getting up, she makes her way to the little laundry room that's inside the garage and grabs two towels. She walks back down the main hallway and knocks on the door, a second later the door swings open widely showing the wet blue hedgehog as naked as the day he was born. The pinkette shreaks, covering her eyes tightly. Sonic chuckles, grabbing the towels softly, letting his fingertips glide along her forearm longer than necessary. He wraps a towel around his waist so the woman can atleast look at him at this proximity.

"Sorry 'bout that, I'm Sonic by the way."

He outstretched one of his hands to shake hers gently, she slowly returns the friendly gesture.

"Amy, nice to meet you. Not the best first encounter ne?" She giggles softly.

Sonic chuckles and nods. She walks back down the hallway to the living room telling Rouge and Shadow that she was going to bed, they said goodnight and waved her off retreating to their own room. Amy changed into her pajamas and laid in the bed, turning off the light and falling asleep.

Sonic finishes cleaning up the mess he made in the living room before walking out the front door quietly, locking it in his trail. He gazes up at the spare bedroom window before smiling.

"I hope I'll see you again soon Amy."

With that, he makes his way to his car before taking off into the dark night.

Sorry that's it been a year, I had major writer's block and kept deleting what I had written.  Ut I'm pretty confident with the way it turned out this go-round. I hope everyone is doing well and I'll talk to you guys in the next chappy!
