Player Problem

Chapter 2

Normal POV:

*Beep Beep*

Shadow turned over under the covers, his hand peeking out to turn off the clock that was on the wooden nightstand next to the bed he resided in. Now, with the clock's persistent noise turned off, he groggily sits up on the bed to grab the black boxers from the floor and slide them up to where they rest on his hips. Rubbing his face softly while sighing, he feels a soft shift behind him until warm tanned arms wrapped around his upper torso. He smiles softly, bringing his hand up to place it over hers softly.

"Are you okay Shadow?"

Shadow turned his head to gaze at the beauty behind him.

"Yeah, I'm okay. It's just, I haven't seen Amy for almost six years, I'm worried we won't be close like we used to. She's my cousin after all."

Shadow shifts his body so he can embrace the woman who is kneeling in front of him on the mattress. Rouge wraps her arms around him and he nuzzles her neck, sighing.

"Shadow, if she wasn't close to you I'm sure she would not have asked to stay with us. I know how she is and she doesn't trust people easily. We're the closest she has now, so cheer up Hun."

Rouge kisses his cheek to reassure her words.

Shadow smirks and raises up to look her in the eye, a taunting look in his eyes.

"You always know what to say don't you?"

Rouge blushes softly.

"Now, why don't you come make me thrilled?"

Rouge grins, slowly getting onto his lap.

"You're gonna make us late picking her up y'know."

Shadow flipped her over, silencing her with his lips.

"Then let's make this quick~"

LAX Airport
Normal POV:

"Thank you for flying with us! Flight  723  has landed in Los Angeles! Please be sure to grab all belongings and walk to the baggage claim! Have a wonderful day!"

A pink hedgehog stands up grabbing her pale green backpack and walking along with the line of passengers to the baggage claim. People are bustling around here until they reach the conveyor belt, suitcases of all colors, shapes, and sizes riding along it. Amy grabs her white suitcases and begins walking to the exit. Once outside, she see's Shadows car with both passengers getting out. Suddenly, a loud voice is heard by a well known woman.

"Amy! Darling, we've missed you so much! Oh my you've grown so much!"

Amy laughs, hugging her friend.

"Nice to see you too Rouge, you look great too."

The two friends split from the hug, before Rouge brought her over to see her cousin.

"Hey Shadow, it's definitely been a while."

Said hedgehog nodded in agreement
