Player Problem

Chapter 2

"It has, but I'm very happy to see you again Amy."

Holding open his arms, he engulfs her in a tight hug. Amy returns the hugs joyfully. A sound of clapping is heard.

"As much as I love this reunion, we have a lot of stuff to unpack!" Rouge exclaimed.

Amy chuckles softly, wheeling her luggage to the car before swiftly placing them inside the trunk with the help of her cousin.

"I believe I'm ready to go!" Amy said cheerfully.

The three passengers hopped into the vehicle speeding off, but one thing rested on Amy's mind as she watched the scenery before her.

'I do hope everything goes well here'

"Remember Hun, if you need absolutely anything I'll be sure to have Shad help you!" Rouge said as she finished putting away the last of Amy's belongings.

"I heard that Rouge! Don't make me bring out the wh- OW!"

Rouge popped back in the room chuckling softly. Amy looked confused at the bat.

"Just a little harmless teasing right Hun?"

A slight grunt could be heard down the hallway making Amy giggle.

"Anyway, I'll give you your privacy. Tomorrow we're going to go celebrate your 'Coming Home' with a girl's day out!' Rouge stated enthusiastically.

"That would be nice to have a little fun, I'll see you guys later."

Rouge nodded and closed the door. Amy was left alone in her room, she grabbed her stuffed teddy bear, the only reminder she had left of her Mother. She walked over to the window and opened it slightly revealing the sun starting to set, painting the sky in a beautiful orange hue. Amy sat on the windowsill stroking the bears soft head before looking out to the sky.

"Mom, I hope you're doing okay up there, I wanted to tell you that I'm doing great here so far and I'm gonna make you proud! It's nice to be back with loved ones again, but no one can take your place. I miss you, but I know you're in a better place. Goodnight Mom, I love you." She ended her words with a tear strolling down her cheek before wiping it away.

"I'd like a nice rose red color, thank you"

"Rouge you're obsessed with red." Amy chuckles.

The white bat gasps mockingly.

"I do not! Shadow just loves the color on me."

Amy rolls her eyes softly.

"Suure, whatever you say."

The girls were having their nails painted silently, then a fit of giggles was heard at the entrance of the establishment, before a loud squeal was heard.

"Rouge!!"

Said woman turned to look, noticing a cream colored rabbit along with a lavender feline.

"Cream! Blaze! It's so nice to see you girls!" Rouge exclaimed loudly.

The two girls walked to give her a tight hug, waving to Amy as well.
