Chapter Eleven

"This is no time to be sad. Yes, what he did was fucked up, but there is much other fish in the sea. Now go wash your ass, and get in this costume." She said holding up a pirate outfit, as I rolled my eyes listening.

I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of seeing me hurt, and staying in bed. I was honestly scared of myself when I was like this. I had the tendency to become depressed, or a hoe when I was alone, and honestly, to some degree, I was scared to be alone. My whole life I was always talking or with someone, and if I wasn't it was only for about two weeks.

But this felt different. This felt like he left, and took apart of me. I was sad, I didn't understand how someone who seemed so interested in you, and called you beautiful all the time could turn around and say they didn't like the face God blessed you with.

I wanted it to go somewhere, but I now saw that it wasn't. Lauren had called me earlier, and I had totally broken down. It was hard, but I was going to make sure I at least tried to get over it. Walking into my bathroom I put on my shower cap and jumped in the shower. After a twenty minute wash, I felt brand new. I never understood why people didn't brush their teeth in the shower as I did, it killed two birds with one stone.

Putting on the costume I saw Bridget in her police officer one."Your ass looks fat in those shorts," I said as she smiled at the compliment. It was a known fact that girls loved getting compliments from other girls, especially about their ass. When it came from a girl it seemed genuine, with a guy we just assumed he wanted to fuck.

Walking to the party since it was a couple of houses down, I went on Snapchat since I haven't been on it in a while. Connor was the first person's story to pop up. Pressing it, I saw a video of Lauren, and Zayn the caption said: "They're so ugly."

Smiling at how cute they were I pressed down on it sending it to her, telling her how happy I was for her.

He didn't even have to lift his head up to see that she wanted to cuddle with him.

I knew better to say I wanted that type of relationship, because every relationship seemed good from the outside. Going to her story I saw she had posted a picture of her as a vampire with people I didn't know.

Looking at a few more stories, I heard the loud music as we approached the next block, and I knew we we're here.

"Babe!" Bridget yelled running up to him, as she saw him in a bunny outfit. Laughing at his choice of costume, I waited until they were done talking.

"This is my best friend Trinity. Trinity this is Lee." She introduced us, as we did a little side hug. Telling him she would see him later we wen't in seeing it was packed. We decided to go outside since it was less crowded.

Seeing the pool in the middle of the walkway, I couldn't help but think the worst, thinking someone would accidentally fall in the pool, hit their head, and die.

"Bridget take a couple of pictures of me real quick." I said as she grabbed my phone, making me sit on the edge of the pool, and pose. Seeing multiple flashes she was finally done. Going to look for Lauren, Natalie, Shyan, Karin, and Demetrius she left me alone.

I knew Zoe, Simone, Catherine, and Amanda weren't at this party because I didn't even know about it until a couple of hours ago.

"Hey man!" I heard males yell from behind me, as I paid no attention not bothering to turn around.

"Keyshawn never did you bring a junior! You fucking dumb ass!" Turning around I saw the girl I noticed as Stacy who took the picture with me on the trip yelling at him.

He was paired up with some girl that I couldn't see clearly. Walking closer getting a better look I seen it was one of the same girls Aaron had cheated on me with.
