Miku pulled him into a hug. "But in all seriousness, really...thank you." Silas awkwardly returned the hug, still in shock that she was hugging him this tight. It wasn't bothering him - he liked it, in fact.

"You're the one I should be thanking, Miku." He said, "You're the reason why I became a knight..." Miku scoffed in disagreement. As if she could be THAT much of an inspiration. "Hmpf. Yeah, but only so we could see each other again," she replied back, "You're the one who's watching my back." Silas countered, saying, "Yeah, well, we're both watching each other's backs." A simple conversation quickly escalated into compliments driving back and fourth. Neither of them would back down until the other did.

"J-jeez, just take the compliment and shut up already!" Miku demanded, crossing her arms, leting out a "Hmpf!" In the middle of doing so.

"Hahah. Fine, you win." Silas said.

"...Once again, really. Thank you, Silas, I - " Gods, what should she say? They weren't even in a relationship, and she was already tempted to say, 'I love you'? Apparently so. " - ...I appreciate it. A-and you..."

"And I you." He replied, smiling at her.

After a few moments of silence, Silas finally looked down at her. Of course she was sleeping - why wouldn't she be? He kissed her forehead, before carrying her back to camp. Sure, they may not have been a couple yet (BECAUSE S SUPPORT IS COMING SOON, YEET - ), but they would be. After all, what was the point of spending gold on a ring that he wouldn't even give to her?
