In another world; ch 3

"Why did you ask about wolves?" Nurse Mary asked me as we walked back to the school. I couldn't help but trip over pebbles and sticks. "Well," I let out a huge sigh. "I had a dream." Nurse looked confused. "About what?" I looked at her. She was looking down to the ground. "I don't know, but it was weird. There were wolves.. lots of them. One of them wanted me to follow them. And, I touched one. They were wolves Mary, wolves!" I was now shouting. She shushed me. "Really?" I nodded violently. "Stay away from them until you learn to control your powers. If they're wolves, you may never know what they want." I nodded, and walked into the school. "Thanks for helping me." She walked off towards her office, and the school bell rang. Time for lunch already? I wanted to find out who are the other students Mary was talking about.

I walked into the cafe, taking my usual spot until I went outside. I never ate, so I just left. I looked around, Chasity was sitting with her cheer leading squad. I hated when she did that. She never talked to me around them, or her boyfriend. She always treated me like I was invisible. But, I didn't care, who wanted to be my friend anyway? I quickly walked over to the doors, that led to the soccer field. "Maybe I could do something fun." I thought. Before I knew it, someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around: Ryan. "What do you want?" I asked him, and leaned against the door frame. "What happened to you earlier? I still didn't get an answer." I couldn't help but laugh. "Why do you care?" He now frowned. Now, his arm was above my head on the door frame, and he leaned closer. "Because, I care about you." Then, he quickly added in, "You're my best friend!" I looked up at him, and his cheeks were a light pink. "I'm going to play soccer. You coming?" I asked. He nodded, and we both ran out to the soccer field.

"Dammit!" Ryan screeched, as I pushed him to the floor. I exploded in laughter, and kept kicking the soccer ball, the goal straight ahead of me. "No fair!" He screamed. I looked back, and he disappeared. Before I knew it, I was pushed to the ground. "Ahh!" I screamed. I saw Ryan going the opposite way, with the ball. How the hell did he do that? "Shit," I muttered. "My leg hurts!" Ryan came to my side. "You okay?" I shook my head, and started crying. Ryan's face turned red, and he said, "I'm sorry." I kept crying. "You should be!" I screamed, and pulled him down, while I stood up. "Haha!" I screamed, and took the soccer ball, running towards my goal, and taking a shot. It made it into the goal and I said, "Tricked you!" Ryan laid back, laughing.
