(D. k.)

So many answers on my mind;
But to what questions do they belong?
Rapturing in thoughts,
Conceiving my demise.
Long stance in broken loud noises;
An empty silence, seeking more silence.
I do not hold judgment against you.
So why crucify my actions, and rubbish my beliefs?
To what gain do you stand besides your purpose?
Acquitting me of nothing but reproach.
Delving deep within my perspective,
Contemplating the reasons for my actions.
Shallow grounds looking deep;
A perfect metaphoric line for where you're standing.
How do you judge me from the shoreline?
When I'm the one drowning.
Feeding me with all the answers,
To the questions I didn't ask.
You take pride, in living out our perspectives of life,
So why don't you let me live mine too?
Within all the esteem, I see someone who is trembling.
Afraid of the innermost question that tarnishes your thoughts;
What if your perspectives are wrong?
Gripping fear, gripping tight your guilt.
So you preach to me, the ways of your perspectives,
In disguise of being right.
When subconsciously, the real reason is;
You're petrified of being wrong, alone.
A perfect escape,
For you to feel better about yourself.
