Chapter 2: First day of school

Y/N's P.O.V

You were lying in bed, peacefully, when a loud noise made your eyes pop wide open. You quickly looked to the side towards where the noise was coming from and saw your phone, lit up with the words "snooze" and "stop" displayed. You rolled your eyes and sighed loudly before pressing the snooze button and lying back down comfortably. You were about to fall asleep again when your phone began vibrating again, making the same obnoxious noise. This time you let out a groan before sitting up in your bed and staring, eyes barely open, at the wall in front of you. You sat there for a few minutes contemplating if going to school was really worth waking up for, when your mum came in with a tray of toast and juice.

Mum: Honey! Good morning. I made you some breakfast for the first day of school.

You looked down at the food and smiled.

Y/N: Thanks mum. Looks good :)

Mum: I'll be downstairs, just come when you are ready.

Y/N: Okay

You ate the breakfast before going over to your closet. You opened the doors and saw the school uniform. In your old school you didn't use uniforms but you were sort of excited to see what it would be like. Plus you were over needed to put together an outfit for everyday. You quickly changed and put your hair in a low-ish ponytail before applying very light makeup and going downstairs with your dishes. Your mum was drinking coffee while reading the newspaper.

Mum: Do you want me to drive you?

Y/N: That's okay mum. I think I'll walk, thank you though

Mum: Of course, see you after school

Y/N: Bye

With that, you took your bag and left the house. You hadn't lived in the new area for a long time but you knew pretty much where you were walking. About 15 minutes later you arrived at school and walked through the main doors. As you were walking down the corridor trying to find the right classroom, you felt someone walk right next to you. Carefully you looked to your left and saw a boy looking down at you while smiling happily.

Y/N: hello...

Guy: Hello! Are you a new student here? I haven't seen you before.

Y/N: yeah, I'm Y/N.

Guy: My name is Taehyung but everyone calls me Tae

He flashed another sweet smile.

Taehyung: Are you lost?

Y/N: Yeah, I'm trying to find room 316

Taehyung: That's perfect. My friends Jungkook, Jimin and I go in that class. Follow me

Y/N: oh okay thank you

Taehyung: No problem.

You followed Taehyung for a few seconds before he stopped in front of a door.

Taehyung: This would be it. Common.

You were a little surprised by how casual his language was but just went with it. He opened the door and you followed in behind him. You walked over to the teacher to introduce yourself.

Y/N: Hi, my name is Y/N and I am the new transfer student.

Teacher: Welcome, take a seat in any free place.

Y/N: Thank you

You scanned the room quickly before seeing Taehyung wave at you while tapping a free seat next to him. You smiled and quietly walked over. As the teacher was getting prepared Taehyung turned to introduce you to his friends.
