Most people don't believe in fate or destiny. Many will just think that certain events are coincidences. However, it gets to a point of alignment, that cannot be explained. What is the chance that Victoria and Maude were on the same plane? What is the chance that Antoine was Victoria's client for Puma? What is the chance that Victoria and Antoine met up once again? Somethings are definitely meant to be. Somethings such as Antoine Griezmann and Victoria Livingston.

"Why isn't he picking up?" Kylian Mbappé gave up as his call went to voicemail.

Kylian has been calling Antoine for hours on end, but alas he has gotten no call, text, or signal that he was even alive. At this point, Kylian was simply worried, Antoine wasn't known for being on his phone much, but he would get back to you in less than in an hour. Kylian got so desperate he called Antoine's sister, Maude, to see if she knew where he was. With no luck, Kylian looked to the news to see if any paparazzi had taken pictures of him within the past hours.

Sure enough, an abundance of articles, pictures, and everything in between showed up with his searching. As he scrolled through the words, Kylian could feel his quickening heart beat in his fingertips. His breathing staggered as he felt as if he was going to faint.

"No, no, no, no, no," the frenchman rapidly mumbled as he stumbled out of his house.

Running. Running is what Victoria considered to be a free therapy season. It cleared her head, and that is exactly what Victoria needed after she left Kylian Mbappé's house hours ago. The sky of Paris was beginning to darken as night fell, and with that lights began to appear in buildings. However, this did not worry Victoria. Her apartment was in the middle of the city and was quite easy to get to.

Her airpods blasted music as she ran to the beat of the upbeat song. Victoria couldn't help but bob her head to the music on her playlist. She had to admit that she had a divine taste in music. The few people on the sidewalk kindly moved out of the way for Victoria, which was a rare occurrence. As the individuals on the sidewalks grew less and less, Victoria's mood got worse and worse.

Beginning to listen to lyrics of her music, her mind flashbacked to all the incredible times she had with Antoine. She finally realized that she would never meet Antoine again. Her heart ached as if she was leaving Antoine at the airport, once again. Part of her regretted ever leaving Antoine, the only man she had truly loved, but she had only ever gotten the chance to tell him so once.

The sky was black, but the streets were bright with light. After fighting her way through the emotions, the heartbreak, everything over the past year, she finally let it overcome her. Victoria went one full year without really going trough the whole break up process. Without lying in her bed and just crying. Without looking at old texts and pictures of the two together. However, she didn't need pictures to remember him due to the fact that she couldn't forget his skin, his hair, his lips, and she indefinitely couldn't forget his eyes.

Giving up is something Victoria hates doing, but in that moment she couldn't help it, she just cried. By now, Victoria was surrounded by boutiques, cafés, and small shops. So, she stopped at a street corner and crouched down on the sidewalk. Without putting her hands up to her face, she began to sob. Antoine was all she wanted, but apparently not what she needed. She's been strong for so long, and it was finally tearing her apart.

Suddenly, a wave of calm overcame Victoria. Her breathing steadied, and her tears stopped—although her red, puffy eyes could be seen. Still crouched on the sidewalk, Victoria wiped her fallen tears on the sleeve of her shirt. She was now grateful for the time she chose to start her run. No one could be seen on the sidewalk, so no one saw her breakdown, or so she thought. Giving herself time to recover, she got up from the ground.

Getting quickly out of his car, Kylian searched around rapidly for the place in the articles. When he finally saw it, he began to rush to it, however, he saw the event unraveling before him, and he couldn't help but watch it do so. A smile broke from his frown as he slowly began to walk closer.

Facing the café that was less than a foot away, Victoria got up but didn't come to the realization of how fast the event would happen. At first, she faced her reflection in the window, she saw her red stained eyes and cheeks, her pulled back blonde hair, her rising and falling chest, and her closed, pouting lips. However, as her eyes adjusted, her closed lips parted, speechless at the sight of the teary eyed man, that had obviously had been crying. Their eyes met each others at the same time. Locked. Not willing to let go. For they had been apart for too long.
