Author's POV.
"Where's Lisa?"
Jennie said as she look at Lisa's desk. Of course, without her girlfriend's presence.
"She was never late nor absent. Weird, she must have been sick." Jennie whispered to herself and continued to work.
A little while passed, Jennie grabbed her phone and called her dad.
"Hello, dad?"
"Jenjen! My princess, How are you?"
"I'm ok dad, how about you?"
"I'm just fine here. Why did you call though?"
"Uhm, can I talk to Park Jimin?" Jennie said.
"Mr. Park? You mean my secretary?"
"Yeah. My secretary isn't here so I need a little help from him."
"Oh. Sorry to say that Jimin is gone now." Her dad said.
"What do you mean, dad?"
"He retired months ago. Maybe a week or two before you took over as a CEO there."
"Really? Do you have an Idea where he went?" Jennie asked. A tone of disbelief.
"I don't really know, jenjen. I'm sorry."
"It's okay, dad. Anyways, I'm gonna hang up. Take care, dad. Bye!"
"Bye Jen!"
Then their conversation ended.
"I guess I have to work things up by myself then." Jennie said as she stretch her arms up.
But before she do responsibilities, she messaged her Lisa.

Jennie sighed once again then continued her work.
A little while has passed, Jennie noticed that Jisoo has appeared on her table. I just happened that she was late.
Jennie didn't hesitate a thing. She immediately called Jisoo through the telephone for some concerns.
On the other hand, Jisoo fixed herself. Making sure that Jennie won't notice something strange in her expressions.
When she entered Jennie's office, she faked a smile so everything would remain usual.
But knowing Jennie, she's really good at reading people.
"Ms. Jennie, sorry for being la-"
"No, Jisoo it's okay. Just tell me how you're feeling right now."
"Oh me? Everything's fine for me--" Jisoo said as she let out a fake laugh.
Jennie stood up.
"Jisoo, I know you're bothered about something. I don't want people close to me feel isolated." Jennie said, a tone of concern in her voice.
Jisoo breathed deeply, trying to compose herself.
"I don't really know where to start this." Jisoo said.
