Chapter 15 - Finally showing!

Start from the beginning

I throw on a comfortable pink strapless sundress after I shower, and my brests are so sore. They've grown and went up almost a whole cupsize, which just makes the dress look ever better on me, and the bump on my stomach is only a little bit noticable since it's not too tight. I slip on a pair of flip flops as I walk down the stairs, and I spot my mother and father at the kitchen table.

And suddenly, Jeremy comes in through the back door.

"Where have you been, young man?" Our mother questions him, as he stares over at her.

"Who fucking gives a shit where I've been," He suddenly snaps as my mother rushes to his feet, glaring at him.

"You watch how you talk to your mother, Jeremy," he sternly warns him.

Jeremy narrows his eyes in anger at them. "Why? She's been ignoring me for the past few weeks not giving a damn where I am or what I'm doing," he louldy lets out, as I stay right where I am in the hallway so nobody knows I'm downstairs yet.

"That is not true!" She tries to deny, as he shakes his head.

"You're all too busy giving a shit about Bella, letting her keep a baby when she's only a baby herself! You're letting her ruin her whole life! You're sick people," Jeremy yells at them as they both look completely shocked, and their faces drop with embarressment.

"Don't you DARE speak that way to us," my father shouts at him as I flinch from the loud and angry tone of his deep voice. "We are your parents and your sister is not any of your concern. She is handling this fine perfectly all on her own."

"That's why I held her in my arms and let her cry her eyes out to me in the bathroom when she found out she was pregnant to begin with," My brother rushes out, glaring at them. "You're both fucking stupid as hell! She doesn't want the baby! She wants to do adoption!"

My heart stops beating, and skips a few beats, as I gasp for a breath. I anxiously cover my wide opened mouth with my hand, in pure horror.

"Oh for goodness sake, Jare! She does want the baby," My mom quickly lets out.

"Then why was she using my computer to look up shit about adoption on google last night, when she said she was checking her email?" He snaps at them as I run into the room.

           "What?" My father demands.

My mother rushes to her feet, and frowns. "She was so happy upstairs earlier--" She starts to say, as she suddenly notices my appearance.

They all turn to stare over at me as I hold back tears. "Jeremy," I blurt out, narrowing my eyes in complete devastation, as he suddenly looks guilty. "What, are you spying on me?" I demand for him to be honest with me.

"You forgot to close a tab," he softly lets out, before dropping his gaze to the floor and turning around, as he rushes through the doorway. He slams it behind him and I look down at the floor in fear as the whole house goes silent.

"What is he talking about?" My mom quietly asks me, as my father walks past me and I quickly turn around to look after him as he walks down the hallway.

"Daddy please," I desperately rush out, but he doesn't answer.

And finally he mumbles, "Don't worry Belle, I just need some fresh air." He walks out the front door as I turn to face my mother, who now suddenly has watery eyes.

"Should I sit down?" She barely says, as I carefully nod and we sit down on the couch.

"I don't want to give the baby away," I qucikly reassure her, and she clearly looks nothing but stunned and confused. "But I just want to have a back up plan. Just incase something was to go wrong, you know?"

"Nothing will go wrong, sweetheart." She tightly takes my hand and places it against my belly over the material of my dress. "There is no wrong in bringing an innocent newborn into the world. It's nothing but a miracle. And I'll be with you through everything and anything."

"Anything?" I practically ask in a hushes whisper, as my mother gently sighs.

            "Yes, anything," she promises.

"Then I want you to come to an appointment with me in a few weeks," I cautiously say to her, as she shrugs in agreement. "I want to explore my options and make sure I'm doing the right thing for the baby." I take a deep breath and whisper, "It's with an adoption agency."

Her bright green eyes widen before her jaw tightens, and she looks more upset and destroyed than she has ever looked before. "No," Is all she says, before letting go of my hand and standing up, rushing towards her bedroom.

I stare after her in pure silence and heartbreak as I realize my own mother is thinking more about herself, than she is about me. And now all I know is I'll either have Caleb come with me and stay right by my side, or I'll go alone. Whatever it takes to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

In the end, it's all up to me. It's my baby and it means the world to me.

So exploring my options is exactly what I'm going to do, whether my family likes it or not.
