BOOM!
The Auslander missile imploded against the Waixing power plant and sent flames streaming across the sky, setting houses on fire and sending aliens into panic.
The two tribes had been at war for more than sixteen years now and after the last thirteen days of pointing missiles at one another, the Auslanders has finally decided to put an end to everything, including Waixing.
Another shell hit and this time it hit a lot closer to the city hall where the natives of Waixing were trying to evacuate into space pods. It was total chaos as people fought one another for a spot in a pod and the shocks caused some to lose balance, fall and plunge into the deep abyss of the galaxy. Not to mention, the whole planet was turned into a battleground. There were tanks, soldiers, bombs, grenades, daggers, every single weapon one could ever imagine littered everywhere. Fortunately, there were no corpses, for Waixing aliens are known to disintegrate into dust once they are slain but that being said, there was dust everywhere that fogged the sights of the soldiers and clogged the lungs of innocent citizens. It was indeed total chaos.
"Surrender your people Waixing!" The giant emperor of Auslander demanded as he stomped through the battlefield. Auslander is the planet of fire giants and is also home to the scariest and most bloodthirsty planet in the whole universe. The Auslander emperor was therefore the largest of all giants as his colossal feet sent shockwaves throughout the whole planet. As his sword dragged across the ground, it created cracks and sent lava spurting out of them like geysers. No one has ever seen the emperor and now that they have, they all feared him.
"Never!" Emperor Waixing bellowed as he thrusted his hands forward and momentarily froze the Auslander giant in place with his telekinetic abilities, but Waixing was no taller than the trees that looked like toys compared to the giant. It was a fight between David and Goliath. A humongous Goliath and a teeny weeny David. A pathetic and useless fight it seemed, for anyone could tell that David was sure to lose this fight no matter how tricky he was or how well he aimed his slingshot.
Although pathetic, the fight distracted the Auslander offenses for long enough and allowed several hundred more aliens to safely evacuate into the emergency pods which were now rapidly decreasing in number.
"You cannot win," Emperor Waixing growled as his face and his arms trembled.
The Auslander emperor cried out as he sent more lava geysers shooting up and broke free from Waixing's psychic grasp. He then began to charge forward and in a flash, his sword sliced through Waixing's body.
"I'm afraid I already have," the emperor of Auslander chuckled as he watched his long-loathed enemy slowly disintegrate into dust. Waixing could not fight back nor could he cry out. All he could was stare up at the sky that was no longer glittering with stars but now clouded with silver pods.
Where the pods would go, nobody knew. All they knew was that the pods would take them to the closest and safest planet where they could only hope would accept them as refugees and grant them asylum. Hope was all they had left for everyone knew that the medicine could not cure everyone, the food would not last them anymore than a few months and that there was no chance to return to their home planet.
Their emperor could only admire the sky as he laid pathetically on the ground while turning into dust amongst the blazing plains.
This was the end of Waixing.
The end of all hopes and dreams as the aliens could only watch their planet shrivel up and burn in flames.
