To say I never knew you would be true.
When I first saw you,
You reminded me of a night's dew.
Perfect and beautiful,
Oh, how you were wonderful.
Little did I know,
That up in the stands sat a face,
A face I would come to know as you.
You captivated me from the beginning,
Trapping me in your deep brown eyes.
Months have passed and I still find myself
Dreaming my dreams of you.
We won another game,
And still I did not know you.
But the crowd cherred and wow'd,
Funny. . . You were just a face in the crowd.

Isn't it funny?
To pass people by and knowing
They have they're own lives,
Their own worries and fears,
Dreams and goalsAnd you're stuck.
Stuck in your own head,
In your own four walls with only
Your thoughts, looking at others
Knowing nothing of them.To them you're another face. ..
Isn't it scary?
Scary to think out of the billions
Of people in this world, there's
Only one for us, one to hold
And love, our other half? They could be our friends,
Or our co-workers,
Sometimes they're strangers,
And other times we'll never know.Much like a face in the crowd. ..
