Promises

I promise not to take anything for granted,!
For reality, is what You made all I wanted.
Promises of unconditional love and obedience,
I made in front of You and the audience!

What can I say of true love other than You?!
—lightening the way for me, is all You do;
Making my soul a garden of love and bliss
To whoever visits it without a miss.

My only wish is for You to be pleased with me.
One of your greatest servants, is all I want to be.
O! Allah! Do not let me go astray,
For Jannah is what I want at the end of the day.
