Chapter 103. Last Goodbye

Daewook again pointed his gun to Baekhyun who's laying on the ground, who does not have enough energy to move just for an inch. Jung Daewook chuckles, "Any last words?"

Baekhyun slowly looks at him despite that his vision is getting blurry. He smiles, a mischievous one. "Damn you." And that made Daewook's blood boils in annoyance.

"No!" Taeyeon screams as Daewook also release his last bullet. Before Baekhyun got hit completely, Taeyeon blocks him which hit her on her left chest, almost to where the heart is.

"Taeyeon!" Baekhyun's eyes widen in shock as he tried to catch Taeyeon before she falls unto the ground. Another bang was released, Daewook's eyes widen as Baekhyun looks at him in confusion.

Slowly, the villain falls onto his knees and was hit on his chest to finally reveal Jin and Kai. It was Jin who hit him before anything will go wrong. The duo hurriedly run to their rescue, "Baekhyun!" Kai worried.

"AhRee! AhRee!" Jin wiggles AhRee to gain back her consciousness but nothing happened. "I'm going to call the police and an ambulance!" Kai alerted and went back to call for help.

"T-taeyeon.. Taeyeon, wake up! Stay with me!" Baekhyun lightly taps her cheeks as the latter looks at him with a sleepy eyes, it's like she just came from a deep slumber. "B-baekhyun.." She smiles as her lips are getting paler than earlier, "I-I've.. I've finally.. s-see you at l-last.." Her voice is nearly like a whisper.

Baekhyun cannot hide his emotions anymore and he started to release his tears that are dying to fall from his eyes, "Shh.. D-don't say that a-as if you will leave. D-don't leave just yet. D-don't leave m-me.."

Taeyeon slowly put her hand on Baekhyun's cheek and he can clearly feel it that her hand's cold as ice, "M-my task is already f-fulfilled.. At least you survived. I-I have nothing more to ask.. A-all I want is to see you live and b-be.. be happy."

Baekhyun shakes his head as he sobs, "My life would be meaningless if I-I will never see you again for the rest of my life. I-It would be meaningless.. for I-I haven't even tell you how much I love you."

Just by hearing those three simple words, it made Taeyeon feel like she has nothing to worry even if she's in the middle of life and death. It makes her feel important, it makes her feel that she's being cared, it makes her feel comfortable, and lastly, it makes her feel being loved.

"I-I love you too, Baekhyun." Despite of the blurry vision, Baekhyun smiles. "P-please.. D-don't close your eyes! D-don't sleep that yet! Not yet! No! Taeyeon, wake up! Don't close your eyes! No! Wake up! Wake up! P-please!"

But it's too late, Taeyeon slowly closes her eyes, and at the same time, she losses her grip from touching Baekhyun's cheek as it fall onto the ground. She became colder than the usual as Baekhyun squeezes her to come back but it's already useless. "No!"

Meanwhile, the Black Pearl members, Jin's members, polices and some medics finally arrived as they started to do their jobs. AhRee got treated immediately and admit her to the ambulance.

All of the members saw Taeyeon's condition, so as Baekhyun who has been shedding tears non-stop. "Hyung, you're hardly hit." Sehun worries who just recently called for medics to cure their leader.

Luhan caress him on the shoulder for comfort. "We also feel the same, Baekhyun. We felt grief and sorrow. But we believe that AhRee and Taeyeon will make it through. They will live, I know they will." Luhan's voice crack but he does not want to show them that he is about to cry.

Baekhyun heaves a heavy sigh of sorrow, "She told me.. That her task is fulfilled, hyung. Which means.. That is.. Her last goodbye."
