If you hadn't noticed, I purposely made Leah clueless to help you out. In this chapter, Macey ends up explaining a lot of Color culture to her, so I hope this clears it up. Sorry it's short... :/

After my run in with Reed I ran straight to room 516. As soon as I got there the door opened and Macey pulled me inside. "Your late!" She muttered, but sat me down on her couch. I took my time to realize how big the dorms were. A kitchen area, with a fridge, a living room and a bedroom that is actually separated from the main living space by a wall and door. There was a huge bathroom connected to it, too.

"Do all the rooms look like this?" I ask, realizing that I never went into my own room before. Macey laughed, but didn't answer my question.

"Now, I want you to relax. Sit down, have a coca—" a hot chocolate appeared out of thin air and my brows scrunched together "—that doesn't have any, any, nutritional value so eat after this if you are hungry." I sip the coca— it's amazing.

"How exactly are you going to do this?" I ask, looking around. She wasn't really looking like a teacher or anything— she didn't look ready to give me a lecture on everything I'm clueless about.

Suddenly, there is a white board behind her and she is carrying a black expo pen. I decided not to question it. "Ask away, Harry." She mused. I frowned, my thumb running over my stick legs.

"What are 'ones?'" I ask. She smirked, writing the question in neat handwriting at the top of the board.

"Basically, everyone in this world thirty years old or younger have Color...sss." She added. I nodded. "So, ones are people with only one power. These people are generally placed in high positions because their colors always range in the Black, Grey, or White section of the Color spectrum.

"Considering this, many people have to come to realize that people don't always have to same amount of color. Ones are looked up upon, but twos, threes, and fours have a tendency to look down upon depending on which Colors. Fives and sixes are the average, and sevens and aboves are powerful and super rare."

"Is that why you asked me if I was being bullied?"

"Yes."

"Okay, next question. What are Battles?"

"Battles are a legendary event at Morctale. If any of your family members went here, then you'd know about it. Every Sunday there is an event called Battles held. It where girls gather around and volnteers fight against each other. The even starts as early as eight and can end at ten, depending on participants and outcomes.

"According to the principal, East Wings are only aloud to participant after a months worth of Battles, but that's okay. If you didn't know, all Freshman are in East Wing so that is why she called us East Wings. Sophomore are South Wings and so on."

"Okay, and who are the Rioters?"

"Ah, the Rioters. Basically, they're a cult," Macey admits nonchalantly.

"WHAT?" I exclaim, eyes wide. My coca is knocked to the ground and spills onto the floor. And then it's gone. I realize that I may feel full but Macey is right— there is obviously no effect to eating food. She probably has FLAMINGO, which is 'reality bender.' It also explains the whiteboard and Expo coming from nowhere. Interesting.

"Yeah. A bunch of girls and guys that got together and cut their rings right off their ankles, refusing to use their Colors. They found a way to get rid of peoples Colors and are rioting with the government to use it on everyone. People also say that they are behind the P.O.F.O.C.C. attacks led by Agent Hama."

My eyes grow wide, and I take a moment to sit back. A few years ago, when I was a baby, zaza supposedly had a run in with Agent Hama. They say that at the time she could bloodbend anyone with a weak will at only 5. She was 10 when she and zaza brushes paths, apparently. Being 24, I'm almost afraid to know what she can do now, so I didn't ask.

Why, at only 14 years old, do any of use have to worry about attacks from people who were here when the world was starting to corrupt?
