That's how he felt when he got to know that their beloved show was going off-air. They hadn't even started with the real story before they had to end it. It isn't the first time that a show of his has been cancelled but somehow this time it was hurting him the most. As an actor sometimes you tend to live your character and you even start to feel like it is your life. In all honesty, he was the most excited to know how Aditya Hooda would develop as a character and learn from his past mistakes and eventually live his happily ever after.

That's why it hurts him even more that couldn't give Aditya the story and the journey he deserved but rather had everything rushed in a matter of few days.

In the past few days he tried to mask his pain and tried to be his usual joyous self. If was exhausting but as soon as he saw that he could bring a smile on his colleague especially her face it was all worth it.

If he was honest with himself, what pained him the most was that Jenny, who was usually strong and not easily disturbed, was distraught with the off-air news and had a hard time to keep it together.

He didn't know when and why it started, but he cared deeply for her. How could he not? She was one of the sweetest, most generous and selfless woman he has known. Everyone gets captivated by her in a matter of few seconds and starts to admire her. It wasn't different for him. Even before working with Jenny he admired her for her work and heard only positive things about her from their mutual friends. Even though they had common friends their paths had never crossed before Bepannaah.

When he started working with her he was so glad to found such an amazing co-star, who would match his performance and his craziness. Slowly over period of time their equation turned into friendship. So of course he was affected when Jenny was sad. Afterall she was his friend, wasn't she?

After the live chat everyone was bursting with extra energy and goofing around. Everyone was hugging and taking selfies as a reminder of this beautiful journey that they had together.

He couldn't count the number of selfies and cheek kisses which he got while taking pictures. He tried not to grimace, while some of them were kissing his cheek because he wasn't really comfortable with it but on the other hand he didn't want to offend anybody, so just like good boy he stood still. He was well aware that any other male would be dying to be in his position, but he was always a bit shy with the other gender and got easily uncomfortable with female attention.

After another incident of a cheek kiss he decided to hide in a corner and take rest.

"Well, well looks like our hero is tired of all the attention he is getting", he heard an amused voice behind him.

He didn't had to turn around to see who was making fun of him. Laughing he turned around and looked at Jenny.

H: "I don't know what you are talking about."

J: "Oh really? What about all the lipstick marks on your cheeks?"

Hearing that he felt how he started blushing and he could see that she was enjoying it.

H: "You are just jealous that your not the only one who has marked me", he said as a reference to one of their scence together where she had to kiss him all over the face. The crew and Jenny thought his face was so red because of her lipstick. If they had known that it was all him, who was blushing because of the close proximity to a certain woman he would never hear the end of it, but fortunately nobody knew that.

Jenny looked like she had swallowed her tongue and stammered: "What... what nonsense... why would I be jealous? I can kiss you whenever I want!"

Somehow they way she said it made the statement a lot more intimate than she intended to. She gulped and waited for his reaction. He looked into her eyes and both were lost into each other for a moment until he started to lean slowly into until his mouth was close to her ear and whispered: "Prove it."

Her eyes widened and she took a step back. Her eyes darted around and searched for an escape. Luckily just then Naihal was calling her. Without saying anything further she hurried to Naihal and left a very confused Harshad back.

"Damn it, what was that?", he thought. They had pulled each others leg a lot of times but this time something had felt different. In a matter of seconds their friendly conversation turned... flirty?

He looked at her across the room. God she was beautiful, and he felt a pull towards her. He wanted to be near her and make her happy. Is it just friendship or something more?
