Percy Jackson stood in the middle of the creek, with a massively fuming Thalia Grace standing just in front of him on dry land. He could quite literally see electricity crackling off of her body and this whole thing just brought a whole sense of déjà vu for him back from the other fight they had which included this very same creek.

'What had he done?' you may ask.

Earlier on, when he was retrieving the hunters flag from them he was met with his dearest cousin Thalia who was unfortunately guarding the said flag. They both had gotten into battle their stances and fought shortly. It was a close combat spar as Thalia had used her spear instead of her bow, while he still used Riptide.

The whole thing lasted only about two and a half minutes before Percy was able to disarm her, in result cutting her arm slightly with his sword. The cut was quite deep, seeing how much blood was leaking from it, but he apologised quite quickly as he didn't mean to cut her. It really was an accident. Next thing he did was get the hunters flag, running away from Thalia with it.

And camp had won the game.

For the first time, in like forever, camp had won against the hunters. It was so shocking that even Chiron was wide-eyed. But of course that unfortunately led them up to the point where Thalia had stormed up and started ranting at Percy, not for getting the flag, but for accidentally cutting her arm. He had obviously apologised again, but she glared more.

Next thing he knew she started telling him that he could have not done it, and when he tried to say that he didn't mean it, she got more mad. From what Percy could tell, whether she wanted to admit it or not she was massively angry at him for getting the flag, thus letting camp win against the hunters. At least that's what he thought was her reason for getting so mad.

Eventually past had repeated itself and after minutes of arguing she pushed him away in frustration; her powers shocking him back into the creek. Percy was at least thankful that they were standing near the creek at the time and that he didn't land on the ground.

Thalia's eyes had widened, but then quickly narrowed, as if to show that she didn't care and that he deserved it. Looks like she had a really bad day or something to be like this.

Percy had blinked twice and stood up, which was why he was suddenly standing in the middle of the creek, thankfully completely dry due to his powers. His eyes narrowed at his cousin who was still glaring at him. Being used to her faltes though, he wasn't affected.

"Seriously, Pinecone Face?" he instantly asked, gesturing to the steaming hole in the middle of his CHB shirt. "I just got this shirt." It's not like he lied, his last one had been ruined when he was practicing on the climbing wall.

Thalia grit her teeth loudly and all of the campers and hunters surrounding the two of them silently, knew she was pissed. "Shut up, Perseus," she told him. She never used his full name. Ever. "You're lucky I only did that and not something else."

Percy's eyes darkened, yet he said nothing and did nothing. He had a tough past couple of weeks after the war but he wasn't going to let her get to him. Tartarus had not been the nicest place. Or even person for that matter, he had found out. Against what everyone else thought, Percy and Annabeth were keeping a huge secret about that place. And that was the torture they went through.

And no, it's not only the fact that they had ended up there in the first place, but the secret that Tartarus himself had tortured them. It was more mental torture than physical, but getting whipped a multiple times was bad enough for him. Thankfully for him, Annabeth didn't remember half of the stuff that happened down there. She was never whipped.
