"Is he still looking at me?" I whispered to my best friend who's also my seatmate

"Let me see" she said before turning around to look at the boy who's been staring at me for the past 3 periods

"He sure is" she whispered followed by a chuckle after checking him.

I let out a small sigh before turning my focus back to the teacher in front of the whiteboard. My classmate has been staring at me everyday in every class and he's been doing it for the past 2 weeks now since he transferred, it's really annoying but it makes me shy I'm not comfortable in class anymore. I still didn't get enough courage to ask him what's wrong with him and why is he always staring at me and specifically me, I also didn't want to involve my best friend in it so I didn't tell her to go ask him herself

"Ugh, when would he stop? I don't feel comfortable anymore"i thought to myself as I let out a loud sigh that made almost all my classmates including the teacher turn to look at me weirdly
"Miss y/n? Is everything okay with you?" He asked, I felt my cheeks getting red since everyone is staring at me

"No it's nothing" I said before giving him a reassurance smile so he don't ask anymore questions, he just nodded at me then went back to teaching but before facing the whiteboard, the teacher looked at Jeno

"Jeno?" He called his name multiple times but Jeno didn't stop staring at me until the teacher yelled his name, jeno looked at him taken aback "W- what?"

"Lee jeno? Would you like to explain to me why are you staring at y/n?" The teacher asked making jeno troubled and uncomfortable

"I.... uhh... I'm- it's nothing, I ju- just....." Jeno couldn't make an understandable sentence because of how embarrassed he is and because everyone's eyes are on him

"I would prefer that you stop staring at your classmate and focus on the lesson" the teacher said calmer than before since he didn't want to pressure the boy more than he already is

"Okay... sorry" jeno said quietly after nodding his head. After that, the teacher finally turned back to the lesson

I felt sorry for jeno, after what happened he didn't look at me at all not even a glance my way, he just kept his focus on the lesson until the lesson ended. The bell rang making everyone arrange their stuff back in their bags, I did the same then I put my bag on my left shoulder before making my way to the classroom door. I was getting out of class when the teacher called my name, I turned to him and went to see what he needs

"What is it teacher?" I said but he did answer instead he looked behind me and called someone else

"Jeno? Come here for a little bit" the teacher said, Jeno looked at him then looked at me, his cheeks turned red but he tried to hide it

"I know this may be awkward for you two but I need two students to help me arrange some stuff in my office after school, I feel that I can count on you two and i know that you'll do a great job at it" the teacher said, I exchanged looks with Jeno before answering

"Okay" we said in sync, the teacher smiled at us

"Thank you, you two may go now" the teacher thanked us then me and Jeno took of to the cafeteria.

The walk was silent only out footsteps are heard in the hallway since almost everyone is at the cafeteria, we walked inside. Jeno made his way to his friends' table and I looked around for my best friend until I saw her wave at me, I walked to the table and sat down in front of her

"What took you so long? Your lunch is getting cold, also why were you walking with jeno seconds ago? Did something happen between the two of you?" she asked me and I let a sigh
