Timeless

(Authors Note: Im back! I know its been so long. A year I think. >.< This is my repayment for being such a disloyal writer. I really should motivate myself to keep at it. Hope you enjoy this poem, I mean every word. <3)

It happened again.

I hadn't seen the end.

It seemed so far, yet it was so close.

I lost that one last tiny dose.

I assumed it would last longer than this.

I thought I would always be covered in bliss.

But of course I was wrong.

Now Im rushing along.

Trying to gain the time back.

When it's purpose I lack.

It slipped from my fingers.

And now there it lingers.

Lost through the time.

Would have been worth every dime.

But no, instead I let it slip.

Thirsty, I wanted that one last sip.

One tiny drop of endless time.

Forever would be all mine.

I regret letting the chance pass by.

It's true, that time really does fly.

But the warning signs were not enough.

I made the mistake again, another bluff.

But its myself I cheated this time.

I was the only one hit in the line.

I am the only one who will regret,

That I let myself hit the dead end.

I let myself lose the time...again.
