DYLAN sat in his living on the couch with his leg bouncing up and down. His fingers fidgeted with one of the couch pillows. He couldn't help but feel anxious. His anxiety was through the roof. He thought about what he would tell her, how he could put into words how big of an idiot he was.

So there he sat, his thoughts running wild when he heard the door knob twisting. He heard the sound of her keys unlocking their front door. When she walked in he stood from the couch to meet her.

Anastasia could tell Dylan had been crying. His eyes were puffy and red and she could hear his sniffles. Her heart broke at the sight.

"Hey." She whispered, not knowing what to say to him. Dylan whispered a small 'hi' back, but he wanted to say so much more. He just didn't know where to start.

So he started with a hug.

Dylan pulled Anastasia closed to him, wrapping his arms around her, but not too tight. He was sure if she'd hug him back, but when he felt her arms wrap around his torso, he felt relaxed and at ease. When he heard small sniffles coming from her, he gently pulled away. He held her face in his hands, wiping away the tears that fell from her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you. I never meant for that to happen." He told her.

"I know. It's okay-"

"No it's not okay. I should have known Britt would do something like that. I never should have agreed to meet with her. I just thought she would finally leave us alone. I should have known better, and I'm sorry to have put you through that. But I love you, and the thought of loosing drove you crazy. Because if I lost you, I would go out of my mind."

"Baby, I'm sorry." Anastasia said.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. I was the idiot. She told me it would bring her closure, so I agreed to meet her. I thought I was doing something good, but it just turned out to bring even more unnecessary drama into your life. But baby I'm so sorry."

It was know Anastasia who was wiping Dylan's tears. He watched as she brought his hand to her stomach, gently placing it on the bump. He laughed as he felt a light kick from their baby, who just recently began kicking. He looked at Anastasia in adoration, while receiving the exact same look from her. She pressed her forehead against his, enjoying the peaceful silence they shared.

"I'm sorry Anastasia."

"I know Dylan. But it's okay. Let's just move on. It wasn't your fault. I just want to leave it in the past and focus on us and the baby. Okay?"

"Okay."
