She did something she didn't understand.

When she told Enoch she would never leave him, she meant for no reason, leaving and putting her life in danger are two very different things and she never thought she would do that for someone so blindly.

It was so dumb of her... maybe she was the butterfly.

Feeling her intense glaze Enoch looked over at her

"What?"

"Should I kill you?" Enoch's eyes widened

"um, No?" Eve paused thinking and Enoch looked at her in a mixture of confusion and utter shock.

"um hello? why the hell do you want to kill me?"

"Well I don't"

"Well good, I guess?" he was so confused as she suddenly stood up

"I'm going to talk to Horrace." she said before walking away before he could say anything. He wanted to go after her but he couldn't. He had a lot of skeletons.

Horrace was sitting on a railing looking out when Eve came up behind him.

He turned and smiled a her,

He still had feelings for her.

The reality was Enoch had been right, Eve deserved to be accepted, all of her, and he hated to admit it but she had a dark part of her that as much as he still loves, he doesn't understand.

And Enoch did.

Horrace  knew that he would try to change her, push that part of her away, he liked the benefits that came with her ruthless and blunt nature but didn't appreciate the aggressiveness that came with it.

And Enoch did.

Unfortunately

"Horrace why did I save Enoch" Horrace raised a brow and laughed

"um.. because you like him?" Eve sighed annoyed

" do you mean like? or like like?" Horrace sighed

"um, I don't know both?" Eve frowned

"but.. I wouldn't do that"

"what do you mean"

"well.. liking means wanting to mate right?" Horrace chokeed and his eyes widened

"ummmmm"

"but, that doesn't explain it"

"um Eve why don't you ask Fiona about this?" he suggested hopefully, he did not want to give her relationship advice about Enoch.

God no.

Eve frowned and looked at him in his eyes

"But I thought we were friends? You said you liked it when I talk about my emotions" Horrace frowned

Dammit why did she have to look at him like that?

"Okay fine, talk"

"well...I thought I liked Enoch, like like. but sometime I feel really weird when I see him, different  than I thought liking was. more I guess. I don't like it. It makes me feel reckless"

Horrace rolled his eyes.

"Eve, of course your reckless when it comes to Enoch, you love him" Eves eyes widened and she looked at Horace in shock

"Love?"

"yeah Love is-"

"I know what love is" Eve interrupted. This time shocking him

"you do?"

"yes... "

"how?-"

"In the wild there aren't as many emotions as there are here... but love...we have that" Horrace nodded

"oh well-"

"Thanks  Horrace" Eve said before standing up and walking away. His eye were wide.

ummm what just happened....

oh well he guesses

Enoch was still working on skeletons when Eve reentered the room. He looked up at her and smiled

"Do you Love me?" Enoch's eyes widened

"Do you Love me?" Enoch's eyes widened

WHAT

"Um I, uh"  he stumbled over his words not sure what to say. Did she mean love? Or was this another thing Eve says but got the words messed up? Did she think love means hate? Is that why she wanted to kill him?

What does he say!

After the night they confessed they liked each other everything had gone back to normal, nither knew what to do so they just continued with there regular routine with little differences.  Hanging out a little more, giving each other looks, and sometimes Eve would surprise him with kisses before leaving him in the dust with no explanation and never talking about it.

Nither really knew what liking meant.

And Eve confused the hell out of him.

So did she know what love was?

More importantly.

does he love her?

"Your unsure, very well I'm going to go" she said standing up

"Wait Eve-" but before he could Eve turned into a crow and flew away, out of sight, but forever on his mind.
