Focus.

Focus.

Focus.

She chanted in her head and as much as she wanted to, she couldn't send the whole place up into flames.

And boy, did she desperately want to burn the whole place down. To destroy his kingdom.

She just had to be strong if where she came from taught her one thing it was endurance. In someway he was responsible but it was all her.

You got this.

She gave herself a mini pep talk and keeping her head done until she made it to her old locker that looked left untouched much to her surprise.

She waited until the halls were completely empty and that no one was around to stare in disbelief before heading off to her next class.

She needed something. She knew what she came here to do but right now. She was more afraid he would make the first move.

Just being around them needed some adjusting. She needed one more trump card she just didnt know what it was. As for the people here;

They acted as though she had risen from the dead and she wasn't even gone that long.

But to her it felt like years. It would always feel like years. Years on her own even if it was a matter of months.

It was then when an awfully familiar face caught her attention as he entered the school with his two side kicks by his side. She couldn't help but roll her eyes.

What in the teenage movie was this?

She thought as she stayed rooted in her spot staring at him as for a second she hoped she had been wrong.

It couldn't be

Could It?

But of course it was.

It was just her luck. Her headstart was officially over. She was told he would be away but of course the son of bitch had a habit of inserting himself everywhere.

She had to admit he looked a lot different from when she last seen him. Even if it was not pleasant. Even now although she was watching him from afar she just knew something was up with him.

His once filled with joy grey eyes were dull and the dark rings he had underneath his grey eyes indicated that he hadn't got much sleep.

That makes too of us. She had to admit sadness did look good on him. It brought a sinister smirk onto her face if only the smirk remained.

But it didnt because there was something else bothering her.

Sleeping had become a problem for her too
Why? Each time she closed her eyes the terrors waited for her. They welcomed her in the most terrifying ways.

He was responsible for that.

His jet black hair was all messy and totally out of character he was a mess. She couldn't help but wonder what had become of him.
