Reincarnated as an overpowered unknown

DECISION

At this moment, Toshiro and haruka were riding horses that were running so fast, faster than normal horses.

"Wooohooo! Hahaha, this horses are awesome" I shouted while holding tighter on to the horse.

When haruka and I were running towards the location the voice said to us, we passed by a river and stopped for a moment to get a drink, when we were resting, 2 horses suddenly showed up drinking from the river as well. When they were done, they finally noticed us, when I saw them looking at us, I said to haruka, "Man it would be nice if we had a horse to ride", unexpectedly, as if the horse understood me,the two of them walked up to us and after which they tried to signal us to ride on them. When we saw this, we were quite surprised. Seems like the animals at this place are smarter than usual, I thought to myself. After getting on the horses, we pointed at the direction we wanted to go, after which the horses began running towards where we pointed, this is how we got up to our current situation.

After some more time has passed, a palace finally came into view, it was really big, around 10 times larger than the usual palace you see. It was pure white in color, and in front of it, you can see an open door leading inside.

When we arrived, we got down from the horses. I rubbed the head of the horse I rode, haruka did the same, after which I said thank you to the horse, after hearing my words, the horse nodded its head and turned around and left, same goes for the horse of haruka.

After a few moments, haruka and I finally walked towards the entrance of the palace, upon entering, we didn't go anywhere else, during the time we entered here, the bells signaling 5 hours of time rang once more, meaning that over 10 hours already passed. We continued walking in deeper into the palace, after a few moments we finally arrived at the center of the palace.

The center of the palace was a huge hall. The hall was circular in shape, it was supported by 15 large pillars, each pillar needed at least 5 people to join hands in order to circle around it. The pillars also had carvings on them with the shape of dragons, the carvings were so real like that if you look at them for the first time, you would think that they were real. In the middle of the hall, there was a large pile of gold bars. 

W|hen haruka saw this, she began walking towards the pile of gold, after a few moments she arrived in front of the pile. W\hen I saw her reaching out her hand, I tried to warn her,"Haruka, wait don't touch it!" but by the time she heard me, it was already too late. Haruka was holding on to a piece of gold, after which light began shining from the piece of gold, followed by 6 chains of gold reaching out, each chain wrapped around the different parts of haruka's body. Her arms, feet, waist,and neck. 

When I saw this, I cried out her name. But after a few moments, someone suddenly appeared beside haruka who was tied up by the chains. This man was wearing a yellow robe, and had hair of white, he was not old, more like an adult, he had a neat beard, and had quite a handsome face. when I saw him, I was surprised because he appeared out of nowhere, but my whole bod stiffened when I heard his words.

"take another step forward then she dies"

"this is the price of giving in to greed, do you have any complaints?" said the mysterious man while looking at me.

When I heard this, I immediately replied,"Sir, may I please request that you let my friend go, I'll do anything, please let her go".  

Surprisingly, when the man heard my words, he had a look of interest flash on his face before asking,"Anything? are you sure you want to do anything just to get this greedy person free?I'll let you know that she immediately stepped out to reach out for the gold because she thought that you would get ahead of her, are you sure that you still want to free someone who puts wealth first more than her relations?".

When I heard this, I was quite surprised, but in the end I nodded my head and said,"Sir, she may have done what she did with that thought in her mind, but I don't think that she is as bad as you think and say, so I want to ask of you great sir, can you please free my friend? I'm still willing to do anything please".

when I heard the words of the child in front of me, the look of interest on my face became even more obvious, after a few moments of thinking, I smiled and said,"I can give you 2 choices, first is that you will leave from this place, forget about this girl and you will be able to live, but that means that this girl will have no chance of survival. Your second choice is a chance to save this girl..." after saying this, I waved my hand, after which light began shining from my palms, after a few moments the light began to dim before it was completely gone, after a few moments, I continued,"on the other side of where you are currently standing from, there is a key, you will have to take this key and just like what you do with keys, you will have to insert it into a key hole, your problem is that the key hole is only in one of this pillars. But that is not the main problem for this test, the real problem is that once the time begins, you have only 2 minutes to get the key and search for the key hole, during this 2 minutes, the temperature in this room will gradually drop until it reaches into a negative degree temperature, you movement will be slowed down, after which you will begin to freeze  and lose consciousness, in the end you will die, but during this 2 minutes, the chains around this girl will begin to tighten as well, you can give up anytime during the test, but giving up means that this girl will have a 0% chance of survival,or you can continue on and try your best to succeed. I will give you 1 minute to decide what choice to take, is it the first choice? or is it the second one? now what will it be?". 

Just as i said this, I smiled, and was expecting the child in front of me to choose the first choice. But after a moment of silence, the next words I heard made me a lot more surprised.

"I choose the second choice" said the child without any hint of hesitation on his face.
When I heard this, the smile on my face got even bigger, after which I said,"Very well, since you choose the second choice, I will give you 2 minutes to prepare yourself".

When I heard the words said by the mysterious man, I immediately interjected, "I don't need a minute, we can begin now", when the man heard my words, he was surprised and his smile grew even bigger once again, after which he said, "Very well, since your in such a hurry, I will no longer delay, your two minutes will begin in ten seconds" after saying this, he began counting.

At this moment I was tied up in chains, at first I was planning to watch on silently as I thought that Toshiro was going to choose the first choice, of course why  would he choose the second one? it's not like we have any close relation that he would have to risk his life to save me. When I thought that he was going to choose the first choice, I felt somewhat relieved, but for some reason, I felt sad, and somehow felt lonely, but when I heard toshiro's answer, I was really surprised and couldn't help but feel warmth  deep inside me, but when I remembered the conditions of the second option and heard the mysterious man counting, I began to panic and began shouting at toshiro, "What are you doing?! leave immediately, this is my fault, I deserve this! Leave now, you got nothing to do with this!". While shouting this out, I sounded like I wanted him to leave, but for some reason, when I thought of the scene of him walking away, I couldn't help but feel really sad, and deep inside it was as if I wanted to call out to him "Don't leave me here please".
