2. The Bridge Incident

Elena's P.O.V.

He swerved right off Wickery bridge and into the water. (SPLASH) We dropped in and I held my breath. I looked to see that my mom was out already. I shock my dad's shoulder and he opened his eyes. I guess that my dad could see that I was trying so hard to stay awake see he mouthed "it's okay Elena. You can go to sleep" I smiled weakly at him "I love you" he smiled at me "I love you too" I took my last breath and then everything went black. I woke up in a hospital bed soaking wet. Just then a nurse came over "hi I'm nurse Melody" I opened my mouth and a very raspy voice came out "I... I... My throat really hurts" I said my throat burning. "I'll go and get you some water" I smiled weakly at her watching her leave. I closed my eyes and saw myself. I was walking towards the bed but my hair was curled and the clothes I was wearing I would never wear. "Hello Elena. You don't know me but you're going to" the other me smiled. She walked right up to me and kissed my head. I opened my eyes to see that I was alone. "Here's some water sweetie" I smiled at the nurse and drank the ice cold drink quickly. "Umm where is my parents?" Her face fell "I'm sorry Elena but... Your parents didn't make it. I'm so sorry sweetheart" tears ran down my face. I quickly wiped them away "can I go home?" "Actually yes your ugh Aunt discharged you a little bit ago" I got out the bed and got dressed. I walked down the hallway to the main room. Jenna, Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline, and Matt were all waiting for me. "Elena" Jenna stepped forward. My heart started pounding loudly in my ears. I started crying as I fell into Jenna's arms.
