Chapter 6 - Blackmail

Julian Deguzman's POV

Contrary to what all the students were rumoring, Chloe's and I's break up was mutual and harmless we even agreed to be friends after some time apart

It still hurt though as even though I could keep my emotions hidden better Chloe couldn't and ended up crying and people saw that and are just creating stories as to what happened

My guys helped me out yesterday, it's hard to be sad when your guy best friends can be goofballs
Even Tahani was cheering me up with her texts

"What's up, dude?" Sean said as I walked to his locker

"I usually walk to her locker but can't do that anymore so I'm here, where's Kaycee," I said referring to Chloe

"I see, and Kaycee's with Tahani, we're trying not to ignore you all again," Sean said

"I told you it's not a big deal it was a mistake, it's not like you both did it on purpose"

"Yeah but I just feel I could have helped or fixed a lot of things when they were happening instead of playing catch up," he said

"Like jailey?"

"Yes, I still don't know what happened"

"I know"

"You do?!" he said in shock

"Yeah, I was there for all, well most of it I didn't see the actual break up"

"Then why didn't you tell me?!"

"Not my place to tell," I said

"Fine, I'm making Josh tell me at lunch whether he wants to or not," Sean said

"How?"

"You'll see"

Bailey Sok's POV

Lunchtime

I had to stay behind to talk with my teacher, she failed to put my last homework grade in so I reminded her

On the way, another girl was walking my way presumably towards the bathroom

"Bailey?" she said

"Yeah... Mia?!"

"Yeah hi!" she said as we stopped in the middle of the hallway

"Uh hi..."

"Sorry, we haven't really spoken since sophomore year," Mia said

"Back when you would bully Tahani yeah it's been a while"

"Sorry about that I was a bitch, sorry I did that to you and your friends," Mia said confusing me

"Me?"

"Yeah you and Josh broke up because of me and Kenny, why aren't you back with him anyways??" Mia said confusing me more

"What? Josh cheated on me!"

"He never told you?" Mia said as I shook my head "Bailey, me and Kenny blackmailed him"

"Blackmail?"

Josh Price's POV

"Just tell him, Josh!" Kaycee said as I was being stubborn

"Fine! Let go!"

"You can let go Tahani," Sean said as Tahani let go of this arm-twisting hold she had me in
