22 | Wait! What?

"Okay? Spill it out!"

"Okay, so I told Leo someone like him. And he is kind of trying to figure out who it is."

"What! Oh shit!" I whisper through my teeth.

"But you can chill, he won't figure it out. He is kind of stupid. He is a straight D student," she laughs.

"Okay, thank you," I smile.

Throughout the night Leo and I made some eye contact, but nothing serious.

I wonder if he and that girl has something going on. I hope not!

Why does this alway happen to me? The guy I really like, is or in a relationship or has feelings for someone else, or doesn't even notice me or doesn't feel the same way? Why? I mean, this happen to me all the freaking time. I don't even stand a chance with him. I'm sure he doesn't even know my name.

Oh well, guess I should get over him as quickly as possible. It will never work...

Today was a rough day. It was so LONG! It was like it was never going to come end.   I sit on the hostel's grass with Eva and Riley. We just sit there, not talking much. A grade eight comes to us and comes sits next to me. Carly is her name.

"Hey everyone," she greets nicely.

"Heyy," we all greet.

"So Leo asked me today, who is Chloe and how does she looks," she states.

"Why?" I ask with butterflies in my stomach.

"I don't know? But when I showed him, I also told him that you are very nice and friendly."

"Oh thank you," I smile.

"And he said that you look really nice."

"Oh, that's good," I try to sound normal.

"That's what you wanted," Riley smiles.

Why? Why on earth does she need to say that? Can't she just understand that I don't want anyone to know? It's like it doesn't mean anything to her! She knows that Carly and Leo talk over the phone and has something going on!
Oh yeah! They have something going on. I don't know what! Why! Or how! She just says that she likes him very much and that their sending red hearts to each other and they facetime and all that shit!

"Not at all. I don't like him at all. He thinks he's thé shit and he's not," I state.

"Oeh," she argues.

"No really. I promise, even if he is the last boy or man I won't date him," I lie.

I would give anything to date him! He is just so perfect! His smile makes my day, although it isn't for me but for her. Jokes!
Maybe now that he knows my name, he will greet me or be more interested, I don't know. I really hope so! I shouldn't live in a dream world or otherwise I will get my hopes up and then my heart will be more broken.

"Oh, my mom is here," I greet them with a hug and I jump in the car.

At home I put on some comfy clothes and lay on my bed. I listen to some music to calm me down, just to get my thoughts together.
