An asylum?
Why would I be at an asylum?
I gazed at the black iron gates. I touched it. The gates felt cold. A sign saying that I wasn't wanted her etiher.
Yet I wasn't going to back down on that either.
I pushed the gates and went in.
I remembered this place being as a "jail" for Gotham's most feared villains like Joker and Riddler...
Wait...
I stopped walking. I was going the wrong way. Why should I be going to this place?
This was where the villains just sat down here and waited for their next plan against Batman.
I shook my head. No, I needed to get away.
I headed back to the gates. I heard voices whisper from the dark building.
I turned. Maybe I did need to go inside. Maybe they might provide something that I didn't know before.
I mean, my parents were criminals after all.
I stepped slowly toward the building. The building was of red bricks, all old with cracks shattering around.
I glanced up at the tall tower. The hands of the clock began to move slowly.
I continued to step slowly on the ground. I felt the dragon inside me inspect every little detail of the asylum.
My eyes detected the walls of the buildings and my tongue slithered. My nose sniffed the air.
I grinned a little. Maybe it was cool to have some dragon in me. I felt more powerful and I could even detect things that I never thought I could.
I could hear voices coming from the buildings.
I walked up towards the doors. The doors, like the iron gates, were also iron and black. I put one finger on it and it was the same: cold.
I thought about dashing inside and looking for the villains. It would be cool since I would finally meet the villains that Batman always thwarted. Then again, it would be bad since my ass would be in deep trouble.
I glanced around. The wind rustled and flew a group of leaves around. I saw clouds gather up, gray and stormy.
My dragon senses creaked at the thought of it raining and that someone was trying to scare me off.
I tried to think about how I formed into a dragon. Do I use some kind of magic spell or wave my arms around to turn myself into a dragon again?
I scratched my neck. I also really need to find out if I could somehow control the itchness in my neck.
My ears perked up and I heard some words. "Batman....yes....well...we tried...now it's time for plan b."
My throat rumbled. A growl escaped my mouth.
I covered it. Did I just do that?
I gazed up once more at the building. I had to go in.
There wasn't anything else I could do now. I couldn't go back to the foster home. They would find out about me and maybe even send me here in the first place.
Especially now that I had this itch on my neck.
I went up to the doors and opened them.
The doors creaked and I entered inside.
The floors were marble white with gray and the walls had white paint cracked. Chairs and tables were set up everywhere untouched.
My dragon senses scanned the room. There was nothing suspicious here.
"Someone's here," a voice said.
I turned and growled. I readied myself and felt the dragon in me prepare to come out.
Then someone did come out. I saw a man with a white face.
I automatically knew who it was.
"Why are you here?" the white faced man asked.
"I'm here just because I'm here," I said. "I have no other place to go to. Not after what I'd done."
"Oh really?" the man said. "Who are you?"
"I'm something you don't want to mess with," I warned.
"That sounds fun," the man continued.
I growled and felt claws rip out. "You better back off."
"Oh, I will."
I then felt something dart into my leg. The world began to spin and I fell asleep hearing, "I will because I can tell by those claws that you're not full human."
The Joker then laughed.
