MLFY Chapter 2.

Few years later

MAX POV

"I need to clean this room man, Charles get off my bed already" that was my annoying cousin. 

"Take it easy dude, I only came to see your ugly face after today's class" he said laughing.

"Haha you think it's funny. I literally do not know what happened when Chloe twerked on me. it was a dare and i wasn't to be affected" I said with my palm on my face.

Charles kept on laughing. I kicked him

My phone went off in my pocket it was a call from an unknown number. I answered

"hello?"

"Yeah max its vicky"

"Shit its been four years Vicky!!! Where have you been?"

"Yeah am sorry, I've been out of the state. I Came back for Thanksgiving"

"Okay, would like to hangout with you if you don't mind" I said smiling

"oh great that'd be nice"

"yeah so I'll text you where okay?" I said bye and hung up.

I wore a black jean pants, black tee and a blue jean jacket with a black airmax. I wanted to look good for her. I got to the restaurant and I waited.
I saw her come out from cab.

I waved her over, we hugged and sat down. I fell for her there and then.
" so Whatsup " she asked.

"For real am not good but am great " I said smiling from ear to ear.

We ate and talked about most things. She looked so much different.

Victoria's POV

He smiled when I Commented about his appearance. We chatted about almost everything we could think of.

From that day we hung out more, watched movies and acted like best friends we used to be.

There was a christmas party this night at the mall. I really wanted max to attend with me.

I still had a crush on max like for ever but i don't know if he felt the same.

"maxwell? Are you still showing up for the event?"

"Yeah will soon leave home, I'll pick you up"

"alright bye"

I slide into my black body con gown that had strip of material on its edges. I applied some nude make up, put on my red leather coat to fight the cold and a silver high leg boot to match.

"You looking delicious babe!" Max said after I got into his car.

I checked him out too. He wasn't bad either
He wore navy blue suit match with a black trouser and a white pocket rose. We got to the party

There was lots of crowd. The door man winked at me and commented us both like we were couples.
That's an upgrade .

I pulled off my coat and went straight to the food table dragging max with me.

"Victoria did you come here for food?"

"Haha no am just hungry I left home without eating and my aunt  loves junk food alot so i'm used to it"

I grabbed a piece of pie and a cocktail drink to wash it down. Max just had blue sparkling wine.

I saw some of my old friends. Its really been four years. Getting in and out of trouble but anyway. I'm happy to finally meet them again

"Girl you look like a model" Jersey said

"Really, thanks and you look like a porn star" I said laughing making us to giggle.

"And I can see You came with max uh? What you both up to this time" she said grinning.
I brushed my curls back

"Nothing much, these days are for fun only" i said wiggling my eyebrows.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned and saw a fine looking guy. Maybe 27, like an athlete with black premed hair, black suit black shirt black bow tie, oh a vampire in sight .

"Hi ladies. I was wondering if i could ask this beauty here for a dance?" He asked smirking at me
Jersey pinched me and whispered a yes. I eyed her

I looked side wards and saw people moving towards the dance floor.

"Oh lord I need max now" I said to myself.

I agreed to dance with the stranger. He gently held my waist and his eyes sparked. His smiled was edged his breathe was like mint flavour he looked almost like a play boy and at the same time every woman's type of man. I was snapped back to reality

"nice meeting you, I am Roderick and you are?"

"Victoria" I said with pride.

"Nice name. I'm a magazine editor and the CEO Forever 20 wears and you?".

Really? Wow and am currently wearing forever 20 boots.

" wow cool, am still at school" i said blushing

He winked and twirled me imitating to what others did. I tried searching for max.

I couldn't see clearly. All lights were dimmed.
I dont want to go home with a stranger holding onto my hips. Not when I'm so vulnerable.

"can I get your contact number?"

"Uh sorry I didn't get you?"
I Said still looking around.

" I need your number " he said into my ear leaning very close to me. His breathe was hot. This guy definitely want a one night stand.
I held his neck warmly and caressed it.
"find me after the party to get it" I said teasingly

And finally the dance was over. We said our bye and I strolled away.

"Vicky were did u disappear to?"  Max asked

"Sorry I was slipped away to go dance with some guy" I said with a pout
