Amelia's POV

I woke up after what felt like few years. I didn't know that I was so tired last night. The room looked acquainted but it wasn't mine.

Wait, what am I doing in Aaron's room?

I was about to get down from the bed when Kylie entered.

"Good Morning Amelia. I fetched you some cookies and coffee." She smiled as she kept the tray beside the bed.

I tried to act as if I didn't hear whatever she said.

Kylie exhaled heavily, "Amelia, for how long are you going to behave like this?"

"Do you think all of this is a joke, Kylie?" I snapped at her.

Kylie beamed, "I am happy that Aaron brought you here. He would tell you the truth and slowly, you would understand everything."

I raised my eyebrows, "Which truth?"

"I promised Aaron to not tell you." Kylie looked down, "But," Her face suddenly lighted up, "I can tell you that I and Ken never broke up, it was a lie."

What the heck?

"What do you mean, Kylie?"

"It was all a lie. I had to do this for you and Aaron." She shrugged.

"What are you saying?"

"Look, Amelia." Kylie sat beside me in the bed, "Aaron truly loves you and will take care of you. Give him one chance to prove his love."

No, I can't believe it at all.

"Kylie, do you even know what you are—"

"Yes, Amelia. I know. I'm just telling you the truth. Don't ask me how, when and why. Just believe it. Some things are better left unsaid and unexpressed." Kylie smiled gloomily.
